A couple of updates –

Last Saturday (9th) Pitt had their spring game. The weather outside was frightful. Well it was described as sloppy. The final score was 10-7. It was said that neither QB looked all that good.

Today, South Carolina had their spring game and over 20k fans showed up to see what they were getting in Rattler. The teams were divided up evenly with one exception, Rattler got to have the entire starting offensive line. He only played the first half but was still sacked 4 times. 8-10, 79 yards. No TD passes. The final score was 20-13. That was TD+TD+FG+FG to TD+FG+FG. Doty had a TD pass.

Inspired me to rewatch the entire series from the beginning on Netflix. One note I missed previously. On the episode with Teri Hatcher, Jerry’s trying to figure out if THEY’RE real and randomly brings up Jayne Mansfield having big breasts. “They were huge…almost choke you!” Hatcher’s character replied “I hear that’s how she died.” Same season or shortly afterwards, Jerry, George and NBC are casting for their pilot, and an actress played by Mariska Hargitay auditions for the part of Elaine. Hargitay is the daughter of Jayne Mansfield, who was decapitated in a car accident.
