I really wish they would consider moving FCS to the spring permanently. Then the spring game could be against an FCS team. Those teams still get their payday and we get a higher quality game in season.

A couple of updates –

Last Saturday (9th) Pitt had their spring game. The weather outside was frightful. Well it was described as sloppy. The final score was 10-7. It was said that neither QB looked all that good.

Today, South Carolina had their spring game and over 20k fans showed up to see what they were getting in Rattler. The teams were divided up evenly with one exception, Rattler got to have the entire starting offensive line. He only played the first half but was still sacked 4 times. 8-10, 79 yards. No TD passes. The final score was 20-13. That was TD+TD+FG+FG to TD+FG+FG. Doty had a TD pass.
