My son loves White Castle and insists we go every time we’re in middle Tennessee. He and I go back and forth on the no difference in Krystals, but the same results happens in a trip to both, (we’ve all been there).

No joke. A couple of years ago, my son and his family spent a couple of days In Nashville. He took the opportunity to gorge himself on White Castles. Needless to say my poor DIL had to go to the hotel front desk and ask for a plunger to get rid of, err (you men ought to know).

If even they did have a good NIL program, he knows a bunch of other schools will also have good programs. There’s no edge there for him.

But most places can’t match the ol’ under-the-table “Bama System.” And that’s why he wants the legal money to be neutralized.

We knew it would happen. Anybody who knows baseball knew that. We’ll also likely lose a couple of series. It’s baseball. And it has nothing to do with wooden bats. Those who don’t know the game will panic when it happens.

The key is how they respond when it happens.

Tbh, this doesn't surprise me just because this fanbase is not used to having a highly successful baseball program and so for many, this might be their first experience trying to really follow the sport. I do think the inherent randomness and variance of baseball can be hard for some to grasp at first.

The wooden bats are going to be a cop out for Vol fans. It's easier to blame that and be mad than admit (or even remember) that we struggled and had to fight in every game of the Mizzou series.

I think its just a midseason slouch. Arms are getting tired. Everyone probably fatigued from the streaks and level of play. We are still the best team in the country.

People also forget this is far and away the absolute toughest conference in any sport in the country, including football.
