War in Ukraine

Against the will of a certain segment of the people. You make it sound like the entire country was against it. And besides that, it is no justification for the US to step in and orchestrate a regime change operation.

Leaders around the world (including here in America) go against the will of the people all the time. So why was THIS particular situation so special?
Uh, the part that "favored" russia is now fighting russia.

As usual you are overstating Russia's position. Most of the country wanted closer ties to the West. The part you are referring to didnt want closer ties to the West. That doesn't mean they are Pro Russians. They just werent very pro-west. It's not a dichotomy.

We have no idea how genuine of a revolution the 2013/2014 chaos was because of the US State Department and NGOs involvement. Let's not ignore that. Was that really the will of the people or was that a seditious program carried out and funded by foreigners?

No different than what we are seeing in Pakistan.
And russias involvement. Funny how you always drop that part.

Yes, the Great Game is a 200 year old strategy that the British Empire applied that we're carrying on right now. It is part of trying to maintain Anglo-American hegemony over the planet. But what we are finding is that we are eroding our own economy trying to engage in this empire building and in the process are also creating more enemies and are gradually isolating ourselves.
Right, we Are gradually isolating ourselves to the point where we have a closer working relationship with out European Allies than we have had at any time since the Clinton administration. Powerful isolation there for sure

Ukraine is likely to take Crimea back at this point, and I want a camera, a mic, a robot bird, and a robot fly on the wall when pootin gets the news.

Very busy day over the skies of East TN. Four tankers and an E-8C are up.

I've been watching ADSexchange over last couple months with the Urkraine war. I filter straight to military and amazed how many military planes are in the air over the US at one time (not including fighters). The jet and helicopter training is almost non stop.

That would be a mistake, a path from Russia to the warm water port in the Crimea is National Security deal for Russia and if they were to be in danger of losing it, I would be concerned about the escalation of weapons being used. As much as I dislike Putin and what they are doing, I have undestood that issue going all the way back to 96

The Russians, Chinese and Indians have been calling for an independent investigation in Bucha and the UK shot that down. Don't point the finger at me or Russia. The West should be more than willing to open up an investigation. What are they afraid of?
They have to keep this continuous cycle of outrage going.

The really need to work on their name.

I wouldn't say that at all. They had different philosophies but Bradley was highly competent.

Maybe logistically but he was slow to respond to changes on the battlefield and adjust his tactics, his promotion over Patton was questionable at best considering he saved him at the Battle of the Bulge.

Eh... Patton was amazing, but he also had a screw loose. He swore he was reincarnated and was previously a Roman legionnaire.

Bradley was methodical while Patton was impulsive. Bradley was promoted over Patton because of politics and the infamous slap.
