Ukraine hit it w multiple anti-ship missiles.

Or as @volgr would say, it's an imaginary fire.

Special mission to convert the 2nd largest ship in the Russian fleet into a submarine. Everything is all well comrade. Fire photoshopped by evil satan death cult cartels of American Mickey Mouse influence.

I've heard the SOS morse code transmissions have stopped. Special mission a glorious success!

Against the will of a certain segment of the people. You make it sound like the entire country was against it. And besides that, it is no justification for the US to step in and orchestrate a regime change operation.

Leaders around the world (including here in America) go against the will of the people all the time. So why was THIS particular situation so special?

To target the strength of a perceived hostile state by limiting their sphere of influence and so access to resources, markets and strategic assets such as ports. And in the process increasing our own. It does affect the average American citizen although indirectly. That's not an endorsement of some of the means we employ. Are you familiar with the Great Game?
Yes, the Great Game is a 200 year old strategy that the British Empire applied that we're carrying on right now. It is part of trying to maintain Anglo-American hegemony over the planet. But what we are finding is that we are eroding our own economy trying to engage in this empire building and in the process are also creating more enemies and are gradually isolating ourselves.

We have no idea how genuine of a revolution the 2013/2014 chaos was because of the US State Department and NGOs involvement. Let's not ignore that. Was that really the will of the people or was that a seditious program carried out and funded by foreigners?

No different than what we are seeing in Pakistan.

'[At] 1.14am The cruiser lay on its side and after half an hour all the electricity went out. From 2am, the Turkish ship evacuated 54 sailors from the cruiser, and at about 3am, Turkey and Romania reported that the ship was completely sunk. The related losses of Russian personnel are not yet known, although there were 485 people on board (66 of them officers).'
If confirmed, the loss of the Moskva would mark the single-largest casualty inflicted by Ukraine on the Russian military during the war so-far and one of the largest ships lost in combat since the end of the Second World War.
It would also mark another humiliating loss for Putin's armed forces, with the Russian leader said to be 'furious' after being given the news.
According to Russian media, Putin was informed overnight about the loss of the ship and was erroneously told that the attack was carried out with British weapons.
Putin was 'furious' in a way 'never seen before', the General SVR Telegram channel said.

Yet you keep making pretty definitive statements about its legitimacy or lack thereof.

Live updates: Russia invades Ukraine, country braces for major Donbas offensive

Wish it was better news, but..........

Damaged Russian warship is afloat, Pentagon says, amid conflicting reports from Ukraine and Russia
"The explosion was sizable enough that we picked up indications that other naval vessels around her tried to come to her assistance, and so eventually that wasn’t apparently needed. So she is making her own way across the Black Sea and we’ll continue to try and monitor this as best we can," he added.
