Ugh Gio went down with another hamstring injury. Kid can't catch a break. Really hope they let him fully heal for the World Cup.

No it appears Massey is just based on full-season analytics. Sort of an all-time Power Ranking of who is best. Not necessarily if you're lucky enough to wade through a crapshoot tourney. Oregon St 2017 is widely viewed as one of the greatest all-time and they dropped 2 straight to LSU and failed to win it all. They are 2nd highest team with a full season (oddly they still include partial seasons from 2020, which are definitely skewed, but anyway).
