I’m going to sound like an idiot, but I’m going to say it… to remove all doubt 😁

I know about Tiger’s injury, but all this talk “not sure his leg will hold up…”

I mean, we are talkin’ bout golf. He’s not an offensive tackle or distance runner. He hits the thing and takes a ride

Do you even professional golf, bro??? He has to walk the entire 7000+ yard course up and down hills. That’s over 4 miles if you walk a straight line, which means it’s probably over 5 miles or more when you walk to your ball that is off to the left or right, as well as the walks between tees and greens.

Edit: Tiger even said that hitting the ball isn’t the problem…it’s the walking that’s painful.

He hits the thing and walks. No carts.

Augusta is very hilly.

Pretty sure these guys walk equivalent of several miles in one game. Walking isnt running Ill grant you, but, after about 5-6 miles ya start to feel it.

Yep...you sound like an idiot. For one thing there is no "riding", for another you have no idea how much force these guys have to put on their legs to generate the swing speeds they have to have to compete at that level...especially at Augusta with all of it's sidehill and uphill/downhill lies.

So his injuries were so bad to both legs that it was uncertain if he would be able to walk much less play golf again. Walking 18 hole golf course is about 6-7 miles average.

He had a fracture dislocation with high risk of avascular necrosis (bone death due to loss of blood supply to the bone) which is incredibly painful.

So definitely impressive. FYI 🤠

They thought he may lose his right leg...I have seen people with those kinds of injuries lose their legs, and I have clients with legs that were put back together after those kind of injuries that are pretty much cripples..

It is more than impressive to me for that reason.
