Of these four: guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin...I'd choose to be the master of whichever one would make it most likely that I could be at least pretty good at the other three. I love all of them.

But piano and drums are very solid choices, too. I'd be happy if I could play any of them.

@WarMachine that stuff on Cliff Burton was good. I had no idea a bass could be shredded on like that.

Oh u know that first loss, vandy fans, Lane Kiffin will be coming out the woodwork to run that jib
Here's a news flash----some of our own fans will turn on this team when they lose a series or two. Worst case scenario would be to make it to Omaha and get put out through double elimination. Some of our fans will go bat sh*t crazy if that happens.

Cool story bro time….. I work at a SNF and we have a resident that has advanced dementia… he can barely feed himself….. transfer….. follow directions…….Sit him in front of a piano and he plays like he is 30 years old.

Not dementia but when the OH has had bouts like that with HE or with various things that have effected his brain, he's been the same way. It has absolutely astounded me at times. He went through a period where he could barely stand, follow directions, etc. but when he decided to tie a complex Japanese knot or mimic a sword kata he could do those things pretty as you please. It would've been too dangerous to test the theory but I'm fairly certain I could have handed him the weapons and he'd have been able to do all of his old forms without harming himself despite the fact that at that time keeping him upright was a huge issue.

The brain is far more mysterious than we give it credit for being. I never imagined that someone could be so completely shut down both cognitively and physically by a health condition but retain otherwise highly specialized knowledge that they can still execute certain things perfectly but it happens. I've told him before that everything I've observed with him and how his brain has worked things out when various things were going on would be fascinating if it weren't happening to us. (And honestly even though it is happening to us and that can be very stressful it's still pretty fascinating at times).

The brash bravado that TV coaches with and the way it permeates through the team is similar(although not the same) as Lane Kiffin…. If he is yours then you absolutely love it…if he is on the other side then you hate him his teams antics…. As for me…. I am 100% on board with it and think it’s great for the game.

As for the fans…. Any time you get thousands of people in a stadium especially with alcohol involved…. You will have a few fans on both sides acting like idiots…. Some fans are worse such as Georgia and Florida…. I can’t stand them.

umm, Coach TV is absolutely nothing like kiffin. TV is genuine and having fun with his players.

LK is a grandstanding attention whore who only cares about LK.

LNS improvements are a massive reno, including enhanced amenities and fan experience improvements, as well as increased capacity and premium upgrades. UT has gone through several rounds of donor input, but it's really Tony V's vision, and UT is giving him what he wants-- playing up the "intimacy" of the stadium to make it a more electric environment. The goal is to maximize the home-field advantage within the footprint, creating a raucous environment that makes LNS a tough place for opponents to play and an exciting close-in environment for the Vols.

The budget also includes an indoor practice facility, workout space and other SA amenities that are "world-class." There are new dorms and other amenities planned under a separate budget. The plan is to be the best, not the biggest, emphasizing player development and recruiting by providing the best facilities and the best fan environment to attract the best athletes. UT is already selling this to recruits without final plans.

This is a multi-year, multi-phase project that will have to go through numerous renderings and multiple levels of approvals and planning commissions. The budget was approved by the board, but there are many hurdles to go. Everybody would like to see it move faster, but there are a lot of parties involved and red tape to work through. Donors are pretty excited, money is coming in and Tony V is happy to see his vision take shape. It's a good time for UT baseball.
I just hope Tony and this staff don't get fed up with the snail's pace for the improvements. You know everyone is coming after him every year from now on and I'm sure big bucks will be presented to him.

Piano for me too. There is nothing cooler than walking into a room, sitting down at a piano and ripping through a cool song. I may have hated it as a child but I wish my parents would have made me take piano lessons.
My oldest son 22, took interest in the piano when he was around 9-10 years old. He took lessons probably 2-3 years, best money I’ve ever spent. The boy can flat play

Charles Berthoud and Davie504 on youtube are incredible bassists. I am often dumbfounded at what they are able to do on the bass.
