What happens when the NCAA vacates wins? And why do they do it?
All it takes is one ineligible player from Kansas and this title will be stripped Kansas has a few players on their roster that has been there since 2019
The school has made this a legal snake's pit from what I understand. I suspect the length of investigation is largely due to the school slow-plying it, trying to win it all before the hammer drops.Taking this long to make a ruling is a farce, everybody is down on the governing body for good reason. Emmert needs to go. The presidents should find another governing body if they are just going to continue trying to operate like they are. When the Supreme Court gets a 9-0 vote against you nobody likes how your operating. College football is the most popular sport and college sports in general need and deserve a fair and balanced governing body that has a better process at everything than what the NCAA currently offers. The rules should have been streamlined and cut down and made to make common sense. They went wild with a gazillion rules, some that are just silly. But they apparently don’t have the resources to render a decision on a school for years. Most of the time the school gets to much punishment and the guilty party gets nothing or just a slap on the wrist. It’s absurd to have to wait over 2,3 or 4 years for a ruling. Just like the rules committee on the game, sometimes they just have to mess up a good thing in the name of a silly rule. We need rules for sure. But the NCAA needs to figure out realistic rules that make common sense and forget the trivial crap. Leave that to the schools or the conference. They have legislated their way out of being able to govern effectively. Just stop it!
