I mean in hindsight, the population of Germany in the late 30’s and early 40’s did resemble Madisonville today. Makes sense now.
I actually watched a documentary about it. Pervitin was the brand name of it. Totally legal until like midway of the war. Then it was for soldiers only, and then it got hard to get period. By the end, Adolf was on even heavier stuff. Pretty interesting deal.
The people over there were Russian... and you have this going on on their border, so of course they are going to act. If we had American expats in Mexico getting attacked, I would expect the US (or any other country) to do the very same thing.
There’s already outrage against Russia for orchestrating the Donbas split and war.I was specifically referring to the statement you made about the news sources. What you accuse Russia of doing Ukraine has done the same with their news sources. I think it's safe to say Ukraine and Russia both have totalitarian regimes.
Thousands of civilians have also died in the Donbass region since 2014. Where's all the outrage for that?
This is a conflict that is largely the fault of U.S. and European meddling in the area.
The Khmer rouge killed a quarter of Cambodia's population. The only valid comparison to be made here IS WWII when we were allied with ****ing Stalin. When you finish with your comedy routine, isn't it incredible we were actually looking for moderate Khmer Rouge members to still play a role in the Cambodian govt?
When have we ever been on the right side of one of these conflicts since WWII?

Carter was an absolute moron which is why almost everything he did failed. He wasn’t smarter than everyone elseFree people will only remain happily free if they recognize that short term sacrifices are necessary for the long term good.
That is precisely what Carter understood that much of America was to ignorant to comprehend.
