It is for the sin of premarital sex. That can save heterosexuals but the only solution for a homosexual is to stop doing it. Very convenient and small minded. A truly good God would not treat people that way. But hey, enjoy the fantasy that you're somehow blessed with knowledge others lack and will enjoy eternity because of it

The non Christian world seems to be obsessed with the idea that Christianity is obsessed with sexual sin. Yes, sex outside of a committed lifelong monogamy is sinful; but that is not some “super sin” that dwarfs all others. In the words of Jesus, Just looking at a Woman lustfully is the same as committing adultry. So I am already under the exact same category of sin as anyone else I might accuse of sexual sin.
Have you ever read Dante? It is telling that sexual sinners are primarily condemned to the two outermost circles of hell. The really deep pits are filled progressively with the sins of the prideful and strong willed. The things that made Lucifer into Satan. Most Christian thought similarly places sexual sins as on the periphery of man’s failures. Sexual sins are a result and symptom of man’s real sin, the fact that we want to be God and decide how to live our own lives without His presence. Deal with that, and sex is no longer an issue. CS Lewis also makes good Reading on this topic. I highly recommend the Screwtape Letters for anyone who wants to truly understand and not just argue.

I said they would’ve played billy bad ass neighborhood patrol no matter what race arbery was. They wanted to be Dumbass heroes. And also arbury was only shot when he tried to fight and take away the shotgun from one of them

The details aren’t murky at all lol. The local police knew exactly what happened and one of Matt’s gay friend who was an activist went to the media to produce a false narrative because he was wanting him to be a heroic martyr not a druggie killed by a former lover

And that tale has been challenged. AND yet again, the position I mentioned was the only one presented by defense counsel at trial.

What is creepy about merely talking about a man and wife?

And yet now people can sue teachers and 3rd parties over it? I can only imagine attorneys put this together and will love it. Meanwhile, a state with a critical need for more teachers will just scare more away. No teacher wants to be liable to be sued for mentioning her boyfriend or his wife.

Why would a kindergarten teacher ever talk about someone’s parents being in love or their relationship to a child? That’s bizarre and creepy.

Clearwater just said a teacher should be allowed to say so and so’s mom and dad or dad and dad are in love together. It’s really not a teacher’s place to say about anyone’s relationship. Do you believe any type of personal relationship or gay or straight sexual matters need to be discussed with elementary age kids by non family members ?

I wasn’t advocating talking about any sexual relationship. You realize kids ask questions when they see things. Making an innocuous statement does not indoctrinate kids.
