War in Ukraine

We've been treated to Trump the Traitor nonsense for 6 years now; it's going to draw a reaction.

Well, if the shoe fits, it must be the right foot.

BREAKING: CBS News and the Washington Post have obtained White House records turned over to the House, which show a gap in President Donald Trump's phone logs of seven hours and 37 minutes on January 6.

Internal White House records from the day of the attack on the U.S. Capitol that were turned over to the House select committee show a gap in President Donald Trump's phone logs of seven hours and 37 minutes, including the period when the building was being violently assaulted, according to documents obtained by CBS News' chief election & campaign correspondent Robert Costa and The Washington Post's associate editor Bob Woodward.

The lack of an official White House notation of any calls placed to or by Trump for 457 minutes — from 11:17 a.m. to 6:54 p.m. — on Jan. 6, 2021 means there is no record of the calls made by Trump as his supporters descended on the U.S. Capitol, battled overwhelmed police and forcibly entered the building, prompting lawmakers and Vice President Mike Pence to flee for safety.

This is like if a guy was beating the hell out of his wife and someone said "it's a shame she won't shut her mouth and has dragged this on for so long"

I understand being critical of our own government and media but that doesn't mean you have to go 100% full on Russian propaganda. You can say till the cows come he that we shouldn't be involved and that's fine but to say that Ukraine is the one dragging this on.. when they are the ones being invaded.. that's a hot take.
I'm trying to make a distinction between the people of Ukraine and the Kiev regime and Zelinsjy. Those guys allowed the US/NATO to put a battery in their backs and they chose to take hardline positions on Minsk II ceasefire, the 8 years of attacks in Donbas and now taking a hardline in negotiations with Russia to end this. All the while, they are holding on and buying more time expecting NATO to jump in to save them, which most European members haven't really shown the stomach to do. The Kiev regime needs to do the sensible and pragmatic thing right now... and what should have/could have been done 8 years ago. The longer they drag this out, two things will likely occur, more of their country and people will get harmed and it leaves the opportunity and time for a false flag that can escalate things quickly.

No, I wouldn't. See, I'm not a member of the committee, so wouldn't have access to that kind of information. On a more serious note, I don't necessarily disagree with your post. We all know that when it comes to government officials, common sense simply isn't common.

What do you think Trump was doing on the burner phone? Was he coordinating with the viking shaman?

Really gives Putin a lot of incentive to sign a ceasefire. In case anyone was still confused on our position, which has remained unchanged from the start, escalate hostilities and keep the casualties coming.

Confused, why would it matter, I thought Russia was doing great. It’s as if you’re walking all over one of your talking points.

The Viking Shaman? That clown? I don't think even Trump-clown would've stooped that low. More than likely, he was talking with co-traitor GOP bigots in the capitol itself, as well as Roger Stone, Mike Flynn, Bannon, Proud Boys, other armed militant anarchist leaders, and other close associates that shared his anti-Constitution bigots. Now, that's what I think, which is what you asked, but we won't know until and unless we get call logs during those critical hours and minutes during of the attempted coup.

How do you incentivize someone that is already doing better than anyone else? I mean they are literally the ****.

I said they are doing fine. Better than anyone else is your words, not mine. Economically they are managing it pretty well. I'm sure they would rather not have to do so, however. It may not give them any incentive, who knows, but at least provide them incentive to sign a ceasefire.

Russia is doing fine, that is true, doesn't change the fact that NATO isn't giving them any incentive to stop.
If Russia has legitimate reasons to invade Ukraine, and those reasons still exist, sanctions and relaxing thereof is a moot point.
Sanctions were not part of the consideration to invade and the relaxing are not part of the reason to ceasefire.

Just getting story straight. The sanctions have been mocked and scoffed at by the 3 amigos on here. So just want to understand. So they would prefer the sanctions removed, because they are working…?

Huh, I (and a very few others here) was right...yet again...

When you set up to defend a city you by definition MUST place military and defensive positions in "civilian" zones. It's literally the entire point of defending a city. Nothing earth shattering or even worthy of a blurb. There are plenty of examples of specifically targeting civilians with shelling.

Bingo.

And the house of cards continues to fall.

So when posters on this board state Russia is bombing civilian targets, you will be sure to correct them, yes?
