Chris Rock probably nailed JPS at the after party while Will watched.
Yeah...I was thinking as Will was yelling "Keep my wifes name out of yo f'n mouth" that he should have put that kind of effort into keeping other dudes out of his wi....nevermind, too much..🤫

Thank you! 🧡 Things are good other than my husband’s drinking problem, but it’s about at the end. He’s either got to quit or very serious health problems are coming. He had a seizure on me last fall (apparently there’s a link between alcoholism and having seizures as a kid), memory loss (something happened againThursday where he is confused and loses memory, and now he can’t remember me being in the hospital or my dad dying), missed 3 days last week so may be fired tomorrow, and all the financial problems that come with hitting the bottom. He says he really wants to quit now and is going to the doctor in the morning. So any prayers would be appreciated! I said 2021 was the worst year of my life. Now I want to go back! This place helps...love the people here!
Definitely sending prayers for healing.

I think you meant to say "in acting" cause I can assure you that the hundreds of actual decent folks working in the industry as crew and production can and do earn livings in all sorts of walks of life. Unfortunately the whole industry is constantly labelled based on what the few (actors) are doing. But the same problem happens in sports as well. Part of it I guess, the ones that become the "stars" and get the fame/money seem to always let it go to their heads.

The crews, definitely. There are a handful of decent actors too but they are the ones that go quietly about their business and we don't usually hear from them on things.

Hey it is what it is...I DONT CARE who u are outside of God and My Momma if u ever dare raise ur hands like that to me Oh boy.Aint no no no no way another grown man would ever disrespect me like that in life period much less the whole entire flipping world to see...Will Smith just took that man's soul on stage for the whole world to see.

there it is. I knew there would be at least one.

That's because most decent people don't feel the need to comment their opinions on every topic under the sun on a national stage. Also society as a whole rewards drama and it's only gotten worse with social media and "viral" becoming a thing.

I care nothing off the Oscars or Hollywood but Will Smith walking up and slapping Chris Rock across the face was quite a thing that happened

If you are Chris, that has to be the hardest thing to recover from to keep doing the show. How can you possibly go on and keep telling jokes?
man snl prepares those folks for anything

I wish he'd dug deeper after that lolol.

Next time he went up to announce an award, "Everyone, I want to apologize for the little entanglement Will and I just had on stage. To avoid a celebrity boxing match that I won't walk away from, I'm retracting my joke about Dwayne Johnson's son, Kevin."

I feel like the baseball team has exactly what you consider the "it" you want in players/teams.

They are hugely talented, but legit seem to treat every game like it's -the- game and play with a chip on the shoulder regardless of who they are facing. If you get a team full of talent to treat every game like that you will always win more than you lose. It's what MJ had that separated him from other players. Some people say it's being competitive but I think it's a bit different. Competitive would imply you have to be in a competition for it to matter, but that chip on the shoulder mentality is just always present. You do everything to the best of your ability, practice, walk-throughs, film sessions, and then games.

Very much agree. VN is pretty much the extent of my social media exposure.
