If some of our posters are any indication I could see where we might make the Sweet Sixteen.
Number 1?? No way.

Tennessee isn’t even in the top 10. Before Hype we accepted the fact we’re screwed and developed BVS. Meanwhile we had to live with the company of Dr Lou, Carolina Jackpot, @Lawrence Wright, and @TideWarrior

Acknowledging the fact that Tennessee has its own nutcases nothing compares to the whining, sniffling, overconfident, egotistical folks that are the buck nuts

Btw Lawrence Roy is still waiting on that RSVP for dinner.

And ESPN hates us.
We do however put great stock in running up big stats and scores against lower division teams and the other SEC cupcakes.
We also are champs in playing the coulda, shoulda ,woulda moral victory game.
Maybe we are #1.

We are perceived as thinking much more of ourselves than we are. I think it stems from the fact that no other team, except maybe Nebraska has been subjected to the fall from grace we have. From 1989 to 2001, we had the 3rd most wins in CFB, those of us who are 40 something or older, remember that well, but since 2009 we have a losing record and are 68th (in that same period Nebraska went from 1st to 49th). Alot of the people who vote in these polls are 25 (born in 97') or younger, they don't remember us being any good. To them we seem like a bunch of paupers who whine all the time and think they are princes.
