Still horrible environment for opposing games. I love my Vols but never threaten or start a fight with another team’s fan @ Neyland. But every school has bad apples….

Meh…I’ve seen Vol fans harass and attempt to pick fights with our fans on several occasions in Knoxville. Those UF fans could claim the same about Neyland.

Yeah, there are a-holes everywhere but a night game at LSU is the most hostile I have ever experienced, those Cajuns are mean azz drunks!

Hence my statement that we all have “bad apples.” I’m sure Vol fans have acted a fool which is ridiculous but never seen a fan vandalize an opposing fan’s vehicle, etc. It’s a shame as I always wanted to go watch a game @ the swamp as the environment was 2nd to none under Spurrier.

Having visited Neyland every even-numbered year from 1994 to 2010, I’ve seen the very best and worst from your fan base, from picking fights with UF fans, ripping UF flags off cars, UT fans keeping other UT fans from harassing UF fans, to UT fans fighting each other over a girl who wasn’t interested in either combatant.

If you want to cross The Swamp off your bucket list in 2023 or 2025 then by all means do so. Chances are you won’t be subjected to all the horror stories you’ve heard about.

I have a good friend who would halfway agree with you. He was a visitor at an LSU night game and was confronted by a drunken LSU fan who was cussing him and his wife. Before my friend could decide what to do another LSU fan observed the situation and decked the first fan for being inhospitable.

UGA fans by a landslide. Totally obnoxious. Even when you are related to them. They ruined just about every Thanksgiving with all the stupid barking. The only worthwhile things that come from Athens are some bands. "Between the hedges?" I'd like to get them behind the shed with a big stick. I hated going to games there.

I’ve been to the swamp for a game, it’s not as bad as it’s made out to be. At least with my experience. The swamp butt is real though, so hot in September. People around us were very nice. I’d definitely go back. We lost that game, so I’d rather go when we actually have a chance.

I have NEVER considered Titans fans annoying. Not even remotely close. Packers and Cowboys fans......most definitely.......

Maybe you don’t talk to as many as I do. Titans fans have made comments in no particular order, a team can’t count a SB unless it was in the last t years, a team that won a S B can’t talk about it unless it is recent, titans rule the south because they won the division twice in a row but only 4th in this history, can’t talk about the playoff loss at home but only about what we are gonna do this year which is win it all, Bengals cheated, referees had it scripted against the Titans, etc.

Maybe the ones you talk to, but half of our members are PSL holders and more than a dozen players and coaches are members as well, and none of them (very few) are like you mentioned.
