Performance in the tourney has nothing to do with how we should've been seeded. You earn your seed with your resume. Our resume put us as the highest 2 seed. The selection committee ignored that. Had we gotten a different path we're probably still playing.

Seeding didn't make us go 2-18...that is just basketball.

That 11 seed was a preseason 6 in the nation with deep tourney history. It was one of the worst matchups we could draw.

Everyone loses except the National Champions. Come on man. We finished the season top 5 and that’s who we are. The tournament is important and a fun set up but it doesn’t prove who’s the best team. Do you really think the Peacocks are top 8?

You’re first sentence is true.
And the tournament decides who it is.
And how far you go in the tournament defines to a large extent how good your season was along with the regular season.
Don’t believe it? Then why do you see the , Barnes is an average coach talk ? Because he’s never done well in the tournament!
A coach can win 20 plus games a year and get fired. Why? Because they don’t win in the tournament.
It matters how you do in the tournament! Believe that!

Bad matchup is 1 way to make a loss feel better.
Another way to look at it: we were a #3 that should of been a#2 and bad matchup or not , should be able to beat a #11
