I mean, they scored 3x as many runs as yesterday, and held us to 2 less. That's improvement on their part.

sure it is....but the inning kept going because of an error...no earned runs after the error

I did not know that if a pitcher gave up a hr after an error that it was unearned. Is this only on 3rd out errors? Or would it apply to 1st and 2nd out?
I did not play college baseball

Vandy is going to be a tougher out. They have fantastic pitching and their defense is more disciplined. We make a good bit of errors on defense but we make up for that by scoring 10 runs lol.

Lol no but the fact that, that would of been the 3rd out and then Ben Joyce gave up a 2 run bomb afterwards does affect the ERA….

Edit: I have admitted this is wrong. Forgot that since the error would of been the last out the HR doesn’t count as an ER.
