LarvaLur was a godsend for cockroaches…so of course they discontinued it. I order one bottle of Termidor and one bottle of Temperin before Summer. The former is great for ant mounds and perimeter and the latter for spiders, earwhigs and rover/crazy ants (even tho it’s not a target pest on the label) everything else gets tidied up with Delta Dust on a dust mop and Advion/Niban bait in the yard. Any ants get in through the outlets and I set out Terro baits and put a straw applicator on a can of over the counter Raid ant control and flood the voids around the activity. Wife says I pay off the grief incurred signing up with me with this alone. 😉
That delta dust kicks ass
I felt fear of God on a bee call once. Went under house and saw a gigantic European hornets nest. Huge. Slammed door shut and started delta dusting through every vent in crawlspace.

It's one thing for them to do that on long stretches of road or highway where visibility is great but doing that in a city? Let the closer unit get there or hell even be a little late. It was a burglary call and most of those are well after the fact (no suspect present just come take a statement). No reason to drive like a maniac unless there was an active situation where someone's life is on the line. Police vehicles are designed to take out civilian ones. It's devastating when they hit regular cars.
What baffles me is how he faces no charges? No lights, no sirens, and not even wearing his seatbelt. How many regulations does he need to disregard for his actions to become criminal?

Wasp Freeze! First job I ever did had a huge hornet’s nest on a balcony. Guy that trained me had never covered that one! Looked through the truck and noticed the can. Emptied it on that family and felt like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Learned it only takes one or two sprigs. 😅

Did u mean the temprid with imadacloprid and beta cyfluthrin? I used to wholesale those separately. Don't remember it being a product 20 years ago

I learned as I went as well. I used a can of that after 30 minutes. Then made my tank hot hot hot with all kinds chemicals not mixed to spec and sprayed about 10 gallons on it from about 30 ft away. Truck tank with hose and high pressure. Not a backpack

We called it Tempo…because that’s the name apparently. 😒 With my second company I started referring to it as Temperin and didn’t take multiple corrections from others to heart.

'Nother response to this one...

Ooh now that's real country! True story... I say I'm not a country fan but what I really mean is I hate modern country. I lived in Union County for a good period after college and it's considered the "Cradle of Country Music." Chet Atkins, Florence Reece, Roy Acuff, Carl Smith, Roy Acuff, Kenny Chesney, and more were all from there. The music I heard there whenever I'd attend a local event would absolutely blow you away and I'm a huge critic of music in general. But I heard live performances from guys who work on cars or build houses all day that are better than anything that's been on the radio in the past 40 years. Seriously, if I had the money to start a small label (and maybe y'all can crowdfund me ;) ) I know at least 4 bands I'd sign and own the charts with and again I'm not even a country fan (that's just how amazing they are).

I never heard a bad live performer there -- that's how deep the talent pool there is when it comes to music. My "come to Jesus moment" tho was at OH's father's funeral when I saw musicians entering the building. At that point, I thought to myself "oh god this is going to be awful" and expected that I'd hear some really bad gospel and have to pretend it was great. They got about 20 percent into one of the songs and I had to put my head down and start counting to keep from sobbing. Music effects me deeply (far more than most -- I can hear a song and get literal chill bumps) but it shocked me that a genre (kinda old tyme country af gospel) could move me so. It just takes the right performer.

You've got to have a heart and a soul in your songs.

I've saved alot of trees with imidacloprid

I like deltamethrin and cypermethrin a little.more than bifenthrin or beta cyfluthrin. Heard Bayer is updating the beta though so may check that out. About price when u can't get it for free anymore

If things are really bad I break out the full face mask and get the lambda 9.7 cs. Burns like he'll and hate to use it but.....

He sees deeper into things we cannot see due to his superior intellect and refusal to conform to the ways of this world

It's a sad , lonely , insufferable existence but someone has to take these duties on for the betterment of mankind

Ain't got a thing to do with it, I'm just willing to call out idiocy when I see it instead of being all "durr hurt he sure showed Kiffin".

Oh and it's cool how you think you know me. If I ever decide to see a psychiatrist, it won't be from on here.

Someone needs to start a thread for just mean/nasty BIG O LINEMEN, because we are going to need to start recruiting a bunch to protect the $8million dollar man...

It actually would be awesome if someone or a group that kept up on recruiting to the utmost would keep a running thread that tallied who (by position) we had the best chances of getting, similar to a confidence level prediction.

As much as I follow the big recruits, I really have no idea who we are in on at many positions.

That's the kind of stuff I heard at the funeral -- very bluegrass. One of the reasons they were so good is a few were working professional musicians and related to some big names in bluegrass -- worked with Krauss etc. But I mean you can't throw a rock without hitting talent in that area. OH's uncle was a session musician. His Aunt was a backup singer for Dolly and his Mom (not a musician in any way) became good friends with Roy Acuff.

Roy ruled the Opry and they'd gone backstage because of the aforementioned uncle. Well Roy had told them all to be quiet and his mom being the chatterbox she was kept talking. Roy came out of his dressing room again and screamed for silence. Then he asked after who'd been talking after he'd asked for quiet. At this point everyone in the room was afraid they were in trouble but his mom owned up to it. Roy took her aside and asked her if she was from a specific area of Union County (she was) and they became fast friends. He called her regularly until his death just to hear a voice from home.

You may not realize it but UC has a ton of different accents and he knew exactly which "holler" she was from by her speech.
