The more elite your qb…. The more elite your receivers look…. Reason I mentioned Diontae Johnson….. last year…. He had 107 Rec for 1100 plus yards and 9 TDs….Hill had 111 rec for 1200 plus yards and 9 TDs…. That was with Ben whose arm was shot compared to having Mahomes as qb….. it may work out for them but it’s a lot of salary to dedicate to that position.

Who else did each qb have to throw to? That also plays into it a lot.

House goes on the market next week. This was built in 2018. Wife just noticed wet spot on our down stairs ceiling. Its directly above our shower. Should i say YOLO and paint over the wet spots and not fix the issue? Suggestions would be helpful
Fix it. Probably isn't much more than a small leak and could be fixed for a couple hundred. Karma.

Yes, you can do what the Dolphins did with a QB on a rookie deal. As you say, the jury is still out on Tua, but his salary gives you the ability to make these kinds of deals. That's why the Chargers are loading up on free agency players, and the Bengals should do the same (and at OL). The difference is the Bengals have their #1 WR on a rookie deal, too.

Bengals signed FAs Collins at OT (Dallas), Karras at C (NE) and Cappa at G (TB) in the last couple of weeks. All 3 were proven starters. They are good to go for next season.

I would post about it online twice first, then I’d fix it.

I have no skin in the game. I'm not a Titans fan, I'm not a Browns fan, I'm not a fan of any NFL team in particular (another story for another time). That being said, I have seen a LOT.....a LOT of folks on here bemoaning the fact that Ryan Tannehill is the starting QB for the Titans. Hypothetically speaking, there's a solid upgrade available that wants/needs out of his current city. Throw a second rounder at Cleveland and offer to take on the remainder of Baker Mayfield's contract (I also don't know what the Titans' cap space looks like). Younger QB, upgrade at the position, and it gets him out of Cleveland. Thoughts??

Don't lowball us Big Ears headliner.

UGA won't have their once in a century defense again. Their offense...well it will still be there lol.

And we're going from Y1 to Y2. When big jumps come. Our offense will be fully settled and ready to go all season. Our defense is mostly just a year older and more experienced. Better pass rush. 3rd down defense was the main thing holding us back and that looks to improve signficantly with a better pass rush.

We're shooting for 1st in the East as the #9 overall SP+ team.

Can you even name a True Freshmen that started in the SEC at QB in the last decade?

Ty Simpson isn't starting at Bama this year, Cade Klubnik isn't going to go start at Clemson, Quinn Ewers still hasn't played a snap, Brock Vandagriff hasn't played a snap, CJ Stroud and Bryce Young both sat a year, as did DJ behind Trevor.
King ?

I agree with you on principle.

Eason is one. Lock I believe too. Just off top of my head, so their opps are limited.

And while not in the SEC, Caleb Williams, the guy before him now at USCjr, the AZ st 5*, and trevor seem like options. Fields would have if not trailing a veteran Fromm. DJu if not trailing trevor. Young if not trailing tua.

I'll just say quite a few top QBs tend to follow/trail other top QBs.

That said, again, I agree with you in principle. I laugh every time people say "we didn't bring him in to sit" about true freshman, as if that's a logical point to play a worse player at the current time. CJH will play the best player he feels can win. And (luckily) the collective paid for Nico, not some business with sway. And the collective only cares about winning. Because it is fan run. Agreed.

The Titans dont have the cap space. Theyre like 2 mil under right now. Tanny has an awful contract. His dead cap is like 40 mil.

There is an interesting question I was kind of mulling over recently, that I'd be curious what your thoughts are:

With perhaps Tennessee Basketball's best team bounced from March Madness early (yet again), what do you have more faith happens first?

- Tennessee Football Makes the College Football Playoff National Championship Game
- Tennessee Basketball Makes the Final Four
- Tennessee Baseball Makes the College World Series - Championship Series (i.e. Final 2 out of 3 between last 2 teams)

Emotions are high on football after the Nico commitment, and low on basketball after another early exit. I have a feeling of what I think people's general thoughts will be, but I was curious if it matches reality. I know where I stand, but I'll hold off on that for a minute.
We could put really good teams on the fields and floor for years and never have a champion. Barnes is going to keep getting in, but the tourney is a crapshoot.
