Yeah I get it but thought there might he cool story behind it. For some reason I think it has something to do with the rock or an incident at the rock. Don't know why though.

Sure this happens way more than advertised. Very few restaurants ive worked in have NOT had cockroaches.

Biggest rat ive ever seen was behind a Crapplebees, sorry 88.

Was in pest control. That’s how I know of this particular example. There’s no rhyme or reason for rodent activity. One account in Keller had 20 rodent bait stations on the perimeter and we had to refill it every two weeks. The account next door? Bupkus. The restaurant in Ponder had huge open fields surrounding it and several building around it ideal for shelter. They had an antique shop right behind it and a soap making operation utilizing the excess lard. Made it even more enticing to the critters. As for the roaches, Dave runs an immaculate establishment and follows all the rules. We’d clear the population and they would hitchhike back in with the linen and vegetable deliveries. With German cockroaches they can multiply to epidemic levels in a week.

A lot of folks don't understand that difference between a school like OM or State and Florida, Georgia, Tennessee etc. Ole Miss has gotten to the point that they can afford the coach and under strain can even afford to keep one but they can't afford all of the things around a program that make things work. That's why sustained success there is so hard.

Did one of them have outdoor cats tho? If you want to keep rodents and bugs away get cats. For restaurants, get some outdoor ones. Kitties love chasing mice but they also love killing bugs.

It’s the going rate for a top 3 WR. I doubt it works out to be exactly 30M/year, every year, but it’ll be the top WR contract slightly above Adams.

With the salary cap the way it is…. That’s the last position that you need to devote that much money too…. To win a Super Bowl…. A team must have an elite qb or an absolutely dominant defense…. Putting that much into a receiver is going to weaken the rest of their team especially when receivers are not that hard to replace…. Compare Diontae Johnson to Tyreek Hill…. Diontae Johnson had very similar stats this season and was paid 28,000,000 less… That’s why I was happy Pittsburgh picked up Tribusky instead of trading for Garopollo…. It allowed us to sign a bunch more players that can hopefully solidify a few positions.

Vols Bias aside, Dolphins improved talent but still won’t be an effective pass offense. Tua can not push it down the field. Saw him in person in Nashville. Not a good quarterback. Herbert was a much better prospect

He did! Had to take special precautions with snap traps in the antique shops. Of course they couldn’t be in the restaurant because of sanitary codes. But they flourished on the outside…were just outnumbered. After we excluded the entry points they ceased being a problem for the restaurant.

He did! Had to take special precautions with snap traps in the antique shops. Of course they couldn’t be in the restaurant because of sanitary codes. But they flourished on the outside…were just outnumbered. After we excluded the entry points they ceased being a problem for the restaurant.

Dang. Usually kitties are pretty epic killing machines. To be outnumbered that much tells me whatever was going outside was ridiculous. Kinda feel sorry for the guy.

The bug talk reminds me of when I lived in the sticks. When my cats were around they always took care of them and the mice. After they died and we were too sad to immediately get new ones we had to deal with more bugs than usual . Once we had cats again, bug issues disappeared. If you're not allergic to them cats are great animals to have around, especially if you live in a rural area but even if you don't.

ETA: I think the older generation like my grandparents always knew this because they always kept farm cats.
