UK beat us pretty soundly before we knocked them off twice. Nova hurt our feelings pretty good too, hopefully we respond like we did against UK if we play them again.
This team in particular, I'll say this much - this team has beaten more teams 2-0 or 2-1 than we split. TAMU, Miss St, USCjr, Vandy, UK, etc. But even that's anecdotal, so I digress.

I think the old adage that "it's hard to beat the same team twice" is nearly like an old wive's tale. It merely points to regression to the mean. If 2 similarly matched teams play twice, of course they're most likely to split games...home/away complicates things even more, but it's mostly just the statistics of 2 evenly matched teams playing each other two times. Yet they're largely independent events. There can be a bit of overlap, but winning the first game doesn't therefore really lower your chances of winning the 2nd game...either team can equally learn more/less about the other.

In this case, they're both neutral games and we beat them by 17 before. There's no reason to think just because we played them before that they'll have some leg up on us this time...as if they'll have figured us out in the meantime. Even if so, we have equal chances of doing the same.

Jmo. We have better chances than we would have had vs Baylor.

Don't rightly care if anyone's changed their opinion or not, I said my piece and I'll stand with it. Seinfeld sucks, it hasn't ever been and never will be funny. I'm not the only one that thinks this way, hell I might even be the minority on this. Don't care, and I'm not changing my opinion that paint drying is funnier than that show. You like it, good for you. I personally think those that find that show funny have a broken sense of humor.

But hey, ain't it great that folks can express their own opinions?? The man I call my father certainly expressed to me that that was the case, and you ain't (and never will be) fit to lace his work boots, IDNGAF how much clout you have on here.
Didn’t know my dad so good for yours. If you’re being honest you know I wasn’t slighting him. The FACT that you consider those who disagree with you as “broken” says it all. First step towards “expressing”.

Curious what is meant by "broken". Cynical? On that note, do you like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia?

Also curious your age.

I'm also reminded of a documentary about the creator of "Everybody Loves Raymond" creating foreign versions of the show. It didn't always work abroad, because the at-home and gender role tropes weren't as familar to them, as they are to many Americans. They just didn't "get" the observational humor about married home life in America.

Maybe this is what afflicts our anti-Seinfeld degenerates. More research is needed so we can better understand how to better educate them on the good word of Seinfeld 😁

I think White has done an amazing job but I also think the LVs need their own advocate - the pressure from donors, fans, and even alums always tips the balance towards football and men's basketball. A counterbalance would help both men's and women's sports because it highlights the women's side and also highlights sports that fall outside just basketball and football. Our old setup was redundant and even outdated but it worked well for us.

Revenge tour 22 rolls on. We still owe Michigan from a couple years ago. Nova...definitely on the list.
