Buddy, we won it all last year. No asterisk like yours. Cry moreI get it..you hate the Lakers and Lebron..so do I… 5 World Series appearances in the 90’s with smoltz, glavin,Maddox and chipper only came away with one..let’s talk about it..before that Hank Aaron didn’t even get one.
3 time ALL-STAR closer. Keep it straight. As already stated, love Freddie and wanted him back. The Dodgers are going down the old George Steinbrenner wormhole of signing the brightest, shiniest available on the market and riding their descent and rinse and repeat the next season. That Yankees dynasty was borne out of George being suspended and others growing their talent in the minors and mixing it with non superstars like Scott Brosius and Paul O’Neill. Forcing aging All-Stars down that water slide to unjam it eventually leads to drowning. Keep trying to convince yourself you’re dominating. You’re getting outmaneuvered.
Nice rant for someone cheering for a team of mercenaries. Braves offered a fair deal. Freddie wanted more than the Braves were willing to give. Sadly, the Braves moved on, leaving Freddie to pursue a second choice. He’s from California how is that a second option?..who doesn’t want to go home? Lol but of course Freddie wanted to stay in Atlanta…he came up through their farm system and was drafted by the Braves.he wanted to go out like chipper and the Braves s**t the bed on thatthe Braves organization doesn’t factor in loyalty anymore, even when the Braves weren’t close to being a contender…did y’all forget about all of those years?..Freddie never once tried to leave like most All stars try to do for more money and World Series contending teams.
