I don’t have any issue with gay people…. Left handed people or someone who chooses to do whatever they want to do their body whether it be as a transgender or anything else…. That doesn’t mean that cutting your penis off or taking hormones should allow you to compete against a sport designed for biological women…. Common sense is not regressivism.I know.
They just tricked me into believing in gay folks 10 years ago. And lefthanded folks don't have psychological issues 15 years ago. They just aren't natural...but god bless them.
Regressivism always wins.
Call it what you will. Still has the plumbing of a man. I call it cheating. No, she actually transitioned. Not sure where you got that from. I just read 5 mins about her and it was made clear she transitioned. It's not a guy in drag, like that turrible ole movie Juwanna ManNo, really, that movie was awful

Exactly. If hormonal treatments had started before puberty, maybe there'd be an argument. But allowing a child to decide they want to be a different gender sets up another whole set of ethical questions. Reminds me of that Jazz TV show. I'm not God, I don't have all the answers. What I do know is males and females are genetically different and no surgery is gonna change that. Males develop more musculature throughout puberty and that's going to give them a natural advantage over females. And no amount of hormone treatment or surgery erases that. It's an unfair competitive advantage. It's tantamount to being on steroids. Lia can go and live her life however she wants, but she shouldn't be competing against people actually born female.This. I'm fine with Lia being/identifying as a woman. I'm not fine with being forced to compete against her. That's simply not a fair competition. I think the issue is where the cutoff line is going to be because I think it would probably be fair if she'd never gone through male puberty but there are some things that can't be fixed simply by taking hormones, especially after the fact.

It's not a guy in drag. It's a guy. Allowed to compete against females.Exactly. She's taken the transitioning horomones for years, as far as I've read. Not a stunt obviously...not a guy in drag as other poster suggested. No idea about surgery, that is another step...quite a big one in my opinionI can't imagine...but the drag resistance gainz...

No, it's NOT a woman. That's the entire point.Reality of what?
She's a woman. She may also have a possible biological advantage due to growing up with extra testosterone while developing.
Afaik that's as close to reality as I know. Of course, tons of opinion and disagreeing science is all swept in it. But that's as much as I know about her situation and others' trans athlete situations.
Even Bruce Jenner says transgender 'women' shouldn't compete in women's sports.Sad day…Volnation forum has become a Kardashian fan club and everyone is fighting over Bruce Jennercontemplating on migrating over to the Football forum…..should I?

This isn't about sexual or identification PREFERENCES. It's about physiological REALITY. Freedom and choices doesn't supersede.I know.

Men also have bigger hearts and lungs than women. Can't undo that either with hormone therapy.Exactly. If hormonal treatments had started before puberty, maybe there'd be an argument. Well said. The puberty part is the key from my understanding. Once you develop the size, length, and muscle mass of an adult male, no amount of hormone therapy and cosmetic surgery can equalize that competitive advantage.
