Update on our little man. He got out of surgery just a little while ago. Everything went well and he’s now in recovery. We are so relieved and thankful of all of you. Still a long road ahead but the hardest part is now behind us. Thank you all again so much for your support and prayers
God’s got ya!!!!

I'll say this - TAMU got absolutely hosed.

But I'll also say this - it took me until the SEC got waaay too successful at football to realize supporting other SEC teams wasn't in our favor. The SEC has been getting better and better at basketball and all this new ESPN money won't slow that train down.

So if every other SEC team would politely go kick rocks, that'll do. We'll still schedule our OOC juggernauts each year, have a strong SoS, and if we become the new UK of a down and out SEC...I say let's ride.
1. I generally agree. Especially in football where 1 loss can derail your chances of making the playoff. In basketball there IS such thing as a good loss. If the SEC is as stacked as the ACC typically is then it gives us more freedom to have a slump and recover. It ALSO gives our guys more opportunities to play national championship caliber teams - meaning they should be more prepared for the big stage year-in year-out. I think this season is a prime example, where the Top 4 in the SEC legitimately could be the Final Four, and if Bama plays their best can make a run.

Also, the Gonzaga scenario is unrealistic for us. The SEC will never be as bad as the WCC top to bottom in basketball. As long as the Vols are on top I'm fine with the rest of the league being the best because it's just making us better. Same in baseball. I don't think that applies in football.

2. I'm not going to cheer for other SEC teams in the tourney, and I always get an immense amount of joy when Kentucky bows out. Me feeling bad for A&M is because what happened to them was objectively wrong, and its the same issue that contributed to our screwing. That could've been us, and whose to say we won't be in that position in the future? That needs to be fixed, and the SEC should have earned respect by now.

I noticed folks asking about times of games, etc,.... For those looking for a good App on their phone for sports besides ESPN and the other obvious choices, download Yahoo!Sports, it's a purple app with a big S... My daughter showed me during football season and it has all the info you need, teams, games, times, stats, breakdowns, betting spreads, rosters, schedules, etc... I now only use it for keeping up with sports on my phone, it's great... And yes I am over 50, so keep the flaming at a minimum please....

That's my go-to.

Hope this is real.

My problem with this is that, where I live (Indiana, western part of the Eastern Time Zone), in the winter, kids are already getting on the bus in the dark from Late November to Late January.

Here's a sun map for my area.

The temperatures in the winter, most of the time, are below freezing at night, and coldest right before the sunrise. So, with this change, kids will be getting on the bus in the dark (and cold), from Mid October to Early March!!!

If this passes (I am also aware of the positives...), I hope that all of Indiana moves back to Central Time.

Yellow is eastern, red is central

So the federal law is to only allow states to do as they wish. I imagine southern states permanently move to DST, while states like Indiana, Montana, etc. keep the status quo.

Confusing when traveling, but better for residents.

FYI, Tennessee already passed permanent DST and is just waiting on the federal bill to pass to make the switch.

‘Next man up’ without DeVante’ Jones: Juwan Howard previews Michigan vs. Colorado State
INDIANAPOLIS — The Michigan men’s basketball team will begin the NCAA Tournament without its starting point guard, DeVante’ Jones, who is in concussion protocol after suffering an injury in practice.

The Wolverines will face a talented Colorado State team on Thursday 12:15 p.m. at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Rams are led by forward David Roddy and guard Isaiah Stevens, who fit into a spread, motion-heavy offense that is one of the most efficient in college basketball.

The underwear shizzing (as the prophet foretold) is real...

Oregon board making new threads over Wiltfong bumping his Nico prediction confidence to a 9...

UCLA circling back to lament our deal...a top thread on their board...

And then USC is wondering how we got "in" with Tate.

The fact that they are all West Coast and sweating over us...well the UT fear runs deep nationwide from anyone over 25. They know the monster we are capable of being...
