Been seeing some reports that Salah is leaving this summer for PSG. 100+ million fee. Would be a big loss.
Haven’t seen that but he also hasn’t signed a new contract yet. Huge loss indeed, but record breaking fee would ease the pain a bit. Can’t keep all those strikers happy and the Diaz signing surprised me. Jota, Mane, Firmino, Diaz, Salah. And Origi, Elliot, and Minimino on the bench.

I’m curious to see if this happens. PSG’s owners (Qatar based) may cut bait after the World Cup, which makes things interesting.

I think the Abramovich/Chelsea situation has really opened European soccer eyes to sports washing.

Harvey Elliot will be fun to watch in the coming years. Good player.

Yup. They actually have good players at key spots but the team is just pieced together so badly.
I know Renaldo is good/great but I swear after every game he just walks off etc. I bet he is an ass for a team mate and not so sure he could be part of their cancer. I love it though because I get sick of them and what they used to be. They are done on a top 4 this year too.

Maybe, but let’s be honest, clubs are going to want to win and the leagues and governments will still turn a blind eye as long as it’s profitable to them and as long as they can control the narrative. Look at Newcastle for instance, the Saudi Prince is the head of the fund that bought them and his family has not only been responsible for the war in Yemen and hundreds of thousands of deaths but he was also linked to the murder of a journalist. The premier league and UK government still decided that his fund could own a club in the UK though because the UK is the second leading exporter of arms to Saudi Arabia and they had the fund set up to control the club and not necessarily the Prince… let alone the fact that he is the chairman and owner of the fund. They gave themselves an out with a degree of separation.. as ******** as it is. As soon as that relationship goes bad it’ll be Newcastles head on a stick like Chelsea’s though.
