Live about 40ish minutes away from Franklin so I have not but I have heard good things. I’m moving to Brentwood in May so I’ll maybe soon enough I’ll check it out.
It's great.

I've had Kayne, Bourbon Steak, Oak, STK - all good spots. C&C is def best steakhouse in Williamson. Bartenders are elite too.

Cork & Cow is just a different speed because it's downtown Franklin not downtown Nashville. But there's a lot more to do in/around downtown frankin now where you can make it a good date night.

Crazy that steak in Nashville used to be Stoney River, Ruth's Cris, Flemings, Jimmy Kelly, The Palm, and the overpriced place in Germantown that's gone.

Sperrys is pretty good but the location/vibe just isn't those other downtown spots

WHAT IS THIS IDIOT TALKING ABOUT

Question: “Why is Tennessee not on the #2 line over someone like Duke, and does this mean the Sunday results didn’t matter to the committee?”

Answer: “Wisconsin had a great season.”

Question: “When you look at Tennessee’s overall body of work this year, 11 Q1 wins, no losses to teams outside Q1, how do they end up as a 3 seed?”

Answer: “Well, you have to look at the overall body of work…”

Yeah we will definitely do a night out in downtown Franklin once we move. I’ve always seen Cork and Cow mentioned on best restaurant lists but just never wanted to make the drive. Definitely will when it turns into a 15ish minute drive instead.

I have to say something on this place since you mentioned it’s name.. Jimmy Kellys was the worst steak I’ve ever had at a steakhouse before. We had a gift card from my wife’s work so we gave it a try and I got a bone in rib-eye and it honestly tasted like they just stuck it in an oven with no seasoning until it was done. 😂 Was so disappointed because the ambience of it being in that old large house downtown was pretty cool. Will never go again though. If you’ve never been, just save yourself time and don’t haha.

Oh I've been. Same exact experience. I couldn't believe people took that place seriously. And apparently it was a big deal back in it's time.

I was over that place BEFORE all the good steakhouses and restaurants came here in the last 10-15 years.

LOL
We have the most quad one wins in the country. 4-2 vs the top 1-2 seeds

Wisconsin has two quad 2 losses

2 quad 3 losses

Our nonconferece schedule is ranked 42nd

There's is 56th

Our total SOS is 4th

Theirs is 20th

Uhh....yeah there has to be some serious bias

In my previous post I said I thought we had a good shot to get to the elite 8 based on the composition of our bracket. I found Kenpom's probabilities for each team in our group to advance. I assume this would update as the tournament unfolds but starting out KP gives us the highest probability of success in our group.

I know there's some prestige about the 2 seed but according to Kenpom we may have possibly gotten the slightly better deal as the 3 seed. jmo.

Starting out Gonzaga has a 27.5% probability (according to KP) of ending up as the champion. The next highest candidate is Arizona at 8.9%. Kansas is 6.6%, Baylor at 6.4%, Kentucky at 6.2%, Auburn at 5.6%, and we're next at 5.1%. Of the six teams ahead of us we've already beat three, one twice.

I'm not saying for sure we're going to win it all, but if I did say it, it might not be all that crazy. jmo.

It's like the all got the same talking points about us vs Wisconsin(???), not even addressing us vs Duke, UK, or Auburn

They keep saying Wisconsin because we all know damn well that we got bumped for Duke not Wisconsin and there's even LESS justification for that than their bad justification for Wisconsin. It's ludicrous for them to throw in UK and Auburn when examining Tennessee and present it like we lost to them -- we're 3-1 against them.

And they didn't. Honestly what we did in the tourney was great but our overall body of work deserved the 2.

It was a total screw job and they cant explain it now. There is no sense even playing SEC tourney anymore.
