Remember that linebacker a few years ago out in west Tennessee who we slowplayed as he was only a three star but then as signing day neared we went full court press on? As we got closer to signing day the more “must have” he became. And his thread got real weird with someone claiming to be close to him. He signed with Texas A&M.

Did he ever pan out?

That would be Chris Russell, has 11 tackles through three seasons.

Was underwhelmed with our only visit to Bourbon Steak compared to Oak but could of just been an off night. Need to go back and try it again.

We’ve been there 3-4 times and never had a bad meal. We usually go for special events and they always give us a table with a good view and some free treats/dessert. The steak has always been perfect for me, but I’ll be honest, it’s the idea of swapping bread service for French fry service to start the meal off that puts it over the top for me

Chris Russell? Played a little special teams and maybe a little cleanup at the end of a few games, but he is not a contributor.

Too much belly aching over the 2 or 3 seed IMO. IF You think this Tennessee team is built to make the F4 or NCG its going to happen. Personally I think this team is very good but would be shocked even at a 2 seed if this team didn’t trip in the E8. History shows CRB as a great coach, just not a great NCAA tournament coach.

Been meaning to try Oak, I’ll have to do that. We usually go to Bourbon Steak when it’s steakhouse night. Amazing food and view.

This is our third year in a row for anniversary dinner. I want to venture out to places like Bourbon or Kayne, but it’s just too dang good.

Final thoughts. The Vols won a tournament championship in a major sport today. That doesn’t always happen. Screw Joe Nonardi.
