Statistical models don’t make the brackets…people do. Basketball people are preconditioned to favor Kentucky/Duke/etc over teams like us. And they’ll use what they need to post-hoc rationalize what they already believed.

I know you’re right about how they’re going to justify Kentucky and Duke being ahead of us. But I don’t think it’s equitable or maps to reality.

Uh huh. Because Gonzaga, Baylor, and Arizona are blue bloods? Haha

Fwiw hoping they push us over Duke or Purdue if they lose. We'll see! Time will tell.

Same reason I argued VEHEMENTLY against Wisconsin. "#2 seed" according to some...while being #21 NET...#31 KenPom...and they were ranked as one of the luckiest teams in the country lol.

Vegas odds are just oddsmakers trying to get people to put equal amount of money on both sides of a wager.
