According to lunardi, who says head to head didn't matter,then what is the point of playing the games if the results are predestined based on whatever analytics say?

We're talking using overall analysis. The committee doesn't seriously go down an infinite tree of head to head matchups, that would be insane and cyclical. Mere H2H does not determine overall rankings.

UK started out a handful of NET spots above us and still are. I don't expect a team to drop a full line over 1 loss any more than UT fans having been angry over us dropping to a 4 seed had we lost to Miss St in the opener...these teams have played 30+ games and seeding are mostly already set. Unless you started out on the brink of moving up. We started out closer to a 4-seed than a 2. I think we'll do very well to reach the 2-line. Jmo but I think we now deserve it. But a 1 or a top 2 seed no haha.

It’s annoying, but he’s probably spot on regarding how the committee looks at it. But Weezer’s right, it’s a lazy, horse s**t way of differentiating between teams that have such a similar schedule and resume.
