I want this game because I want to see the Vols cut down the nets and I want to get the tourney title monkey off our backs (and Barnes’s), but I recognize today doesn’t make or break things one way or the other.

What concerns me is that A&M has shot over 50% from 3 for each of their three tourney wins. That’s nuts. Are they in a lather? They absolutely drug Arkansas, and the Hogs were a hot team themselves. Auburn getting hot from 3 sank us in 2019. Do we have the defense to avoid that happening with A&M? On paper we do, but as everyone knows, games especially in March are not played on paper. Teams get hot, upsets happen, and the Aggies may have to have this one to get in.

I’m expecting a close one. Hope we have it in us at the end.

Jamaal White thoroughly enjoyed his visit to Knoxville. He witnessed Coach Hitr’s high flying offense pass for over 450 yards in a satisfying 42-28 win over rival Florida. White still has a visit scheduled with Missouri later in the season, so we’ll have to survive that. But right now things are certainly trending in the right direction.

This guy needs a thread! I wonder how many ff'ers would take it seriously? A lot of untapped comedy potential there.

SEC and B1G are the only P5 conferences finishing up today. Gonzaga has been resting up since Tuesday night.

I'm surprised we haven't made adjustments to finish up earlier. Imagine being an SEC champ after 3-5 straight days of BRUTAL games...win a title on Sunday exhausted...and have to get back up for a Thursday noon game.

Even if it's just by a day or two, surely we could help ourselves out a little.

A little nugget I learned last night, The B12 used to finish on Sunday as well. Barnes was one of the B12 coaches that spearheaded the change to get it moved to Saturday. I wonder if hes doing it in the SEC
