One dance competition that I missed due to a Scout campout with my son… a dance company had a dance disqualify. My wife told me that they were setting up what looked like portable stripper poles. The judges stopped the crew and asked the dance company owner to come to the judges table. They had a heated exchange and the owner stormed off.
My daughter’s dance followed. My wife was backstage and said that the dancers for the disqualified dance all looked like they were wearing little stripper outfits. They were about 12… my wife was horrified for these little girls.
Another Mom from our studio overheard them complaining that it was unfair and that the girls looked so cute on the poles. 😳
The studio closed not long afterwards…
Really is scary.

As a father of daughters, that makes me physically sick. We are told to stop objectifying women, which we should, and then some people tell their pre-teen girls to go do what some of the most objectified women in the world do cause it'll be cute. Stupid people are stupid.

If I'm Russell Wilson, I'm not sure I want to go to the Broncos. Not convinced they'll compete anytime soon, even with Wilson. And from what I read, they're supposedly giving up two first round picks and two second round picks as part of the package. That's gonna make it hard to build around an already aging QB. Wilson is 33yo.

Every time a team receives more than one draft pick in a trade, the Herschel Walker Trade is referenced. Most end up like the Eric Dickerson version. Doing multiple trade downs build a full roster. Haphazard straight up selections set up another rebuild down the line. Would love to see what Belichick could do with this haul. Closest current example of the riverboat gambler that was Jimmy Johnson.
