We do have to get better but we also knew that we had weaknesses all over the field…. We performed better than I was expecting although no where near where to be to reach our goals..

As for CWM…. I have heard those same things about his secondary and I do feel that his DBs have an issue playing the ball at times…. I looked up the stats though and our best secondary in years was when he was here before… His defense s ranked in comp% 40th, 10th, and 9th in the country….. the yards per pass attempt were for those same years were ranked 75th, 44th, and 26th…… By comparison our last two times we went to the sec chanpionship game…we were rated 65th and 99th in comp% and 72nd and 55th in Yards per pass attempt…. This past season we were 84th in pass % and 72 in yards per attempt…. By those metrics…. It seems like our secondary performed better during his years and maybe some of our fans perception is incorrect.

Agree. That’s why I’m hoping for a move to around #80. That would reassure me we are heading the right direction. We should not expect our D to have stats like other teams with the O sceme we have.

It was man/press technique that caused our anguish previously. Also staying with Teague at CB like they did with Burrell.

It's better for recruits. They get VIP treatment and they'll still interact with donors because there'll be donors attending the game. It just won't be open to the public.
And that is the whole point. I get that it's probably the best they thought that they could do. But, as others have mentioned, that is the only game that some fans are able to attend for whatever reason and this year, they can't even watch it. It might be good at Volunteer Village, so that is better than nothing, but having the game would still be better IMO.

Nine. It used to always be five. Just more of the everybody gets a trophy generation.

I'm actually not sure it's a set number because last year's first team only had 8 on it. I think it depends on the number of votes and if a player hits a certain threshold.

That said, they expanded the teams once the conference was expanded, which I think makes some sense.

Let's keep it family friendly there bub.
Perhaps you're thinking of a different kinda oil change. This refers to replacing tainted urine in the subject with pristine evacuation fluid for the subjects next micturition episode. This is generally performed in order to manipulate a drug test for personal and/or professional gain. . . 😆
