Y'all stop wasting your time. If I've said it 1 time, I've said it 12.A severely sprained ankle is literally a small tear in the ligaments. If someone breaks a bone, they are coming off the field.
You just want to dig in on Heupel and his offense, which is no surprise. Teams should be able to play fast, slow, or in between if they think it’s an advantage. Faking injuries admits you can’t handle it.
So what defines offense? Pretty sure throwing the ball was at one point considered gimmicky. So if I slow the offense down and run the clock out and rely on good defense, is that a gimmick? Which offense should we run to make sure it’s not a gimmick? You cant guarantee that.
Most will get butthurt and disagree, but the bigger issues is offenses that rely more on the gimmick of tempo than execution. Execute better and faking injuries dont matter. But yall arent ready for that conversation.
Let's go! I love the MS coast!! Caught a 24" speck off the islands 2 years ago.Poking around the marshes and barrier islands of Mississippi on the fly today....a nice 30” bull red and two Black Drum over 30 LBS. Biggest was probably closer to 40 LBS. Had that 10 weight and my arm begging for mercy lol.
Was always Lampley or Davis. An article said UT had a couple times last year where a lineman would go to the ground before a PAT, presumably to give the defense extra rest...
I say GOOD. We should do it every dang time just to show the absurdity of it all. Hell, do it twice each time just to prove how silly this crap is.
Kids have forever done this lol.Not at all. Punish the painfully obvious sniper in the tree stuff. But a blanket rule with all injuries is stupid. Plus with the days of the NIL stuff, a kid got x to play he doesnt get his money if he doesnt play. Player feels like he has to stay on the field to support his family, then bam gets hurt, cant play football anymore. NIL deal goes away and kid cant support his family anymore.
He's an idiot. But just sh!ts and giggles I'll through my .02 cents in. Make it a reviewable play from the booth. If it is deemed "fake injury" then it is a 15yd penalty and an automatic 1st down. No reason for anybody to sit out any more than the normal one play they sit out now. If coaches still want to use fake injuries to slow down a drive it will cost them 15.You've obviously never played. Do you have any idea the amount of execution required to successfully run an offense at the tempo of ours? Both of your arguments are absolutely wrong.
What about benching the starters for less talented athletes, so the starters can stay healthy? So it's ok to bench the starters for their health, but sacrifice the safety security of lesser players. . . but on the other hand, the lesser players shouldn't replace a starter due to injury, because then they're at a higher risk for injury.
Do you not understand how absolutely ignorant and delusional this is? You do know that you are in favor of both of these principals, right?
