I came down with covid a few weeks back...went thru and got over that, which wasnt too bad (headaches and sweats were the worst!!!), thank the good Lord; however, then my mom and grandma got it, and it made them pretty sick. Again, thank the Lord, they got over it, and got well. But, then my granny broke her ribs right on the heels of covid, and that was just awful for her, the pain...i can only imagine. Fortunately, she is on the mend, and feeling a bit better.

However, while all of this was going on, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Over the last couple of weeks, we have lived at the Dr office and hospital, getting all of her tests and scans run, leading up to her chemo and radiation treatments, which will begin on the 14th. She will beat this, but she has some tough days ahead.

I have never been one to post my personal life on social media, and debated back and forth about posting this...however, I'm asking all of Vol Nation, if you will, to please keep my mom and my family in your prayers. As we've seen, our Big Orange family can move mountains, and the power of prayer has no bounds. To all of you who are sick and afflicted, or have loved ones who are down, I'm with you...to all of you who are on the mend, I rejoice.

We haven’t sniffed this kind of speed in 15 years (save CP84). I’m guessing we have a few others on the team that will hit in due time. El Heup must focus on speed training more than anything.

They also have quite a few two sport athletes on the team that used to run track.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if JaVonta Payton runs fast at his pro day.

San Francisco is a really cool city to visit. Best view in the city IMO is at Alamo Square Park. Painted Lady Houses with the view of the city behind them. Postcard Row

Ohhh I like this one.

1. Cholula (Original is the typical grab, but I enjoy the Chipotle flavored one as well)
2. Tabasco Chipotle (also like the original)
3. Sriracha
4. Marie Sharp's the white label original or the gold label are the two I like most, low on the list cause it's hard to find and typically can only find the smaller bottles

I'm amazed how many "fans" we have that just seem to want to trash our guys.

2 days ago no one would have guessed Velus was running a 4.31...and now that he has people just move on to other negatives about him when anyone is hyped about how fast his 40 was.

Like the entire rest of the country is already *****ing on the Vols as often as they can, why are we doing it ourselves?

I agree. Velus is an orange blooded VFL who even wants the state's pro team to draft him. He succeeded in a brand new O-scheme and anybody with a brain can see how valuable he was as a receiver and returner. Now he opens eyes in the combine. Support this VFL and all of them for that matter.

Well what will help his draft stock is the recent success of Deebo Samuel (who only ran 4.48 at the combine) as well as CP84 (who only ran 4.42 at the combine).

Velus is a bit old, but most NFL primes are 25-30 anyway. He had nearly 5k all purpose yards while in college, and had he played in this system for more than one season he would have had even more. Legit 6'0" 200lbs+ and 4.31 laser timed is absolutely cooking it, a team that uses him right would have something special.

He's also a high character guy who works his ass off.
