‘23 CA QB Nicholaus Iamaleava (Tennessee)

Lol. Some of you are talking like Nico has all but eliminated us. The guy's entire family will be here this weekend. Calm down people.

Got to hope the pull of the SEC wins out and offensive scheme. Oregon is unknown and I’m not sure Dillingham will be some elite offensive mind. He has never proven to be one. Tosh Lupoi is the concern imo. The guy is hard to beat for West Coast kids especially those in that ethnic community

Fong has a pretty strong track record, he's one of 247's most reliable guys. It's not much of a surprise, Oregon is 125-42 since we fired Fulmer. We are 80-81 The only people in the country that think we should be more likely to win that recruiting battle are Tennessee fans. Doesn't mean we are doomed if he doesn't come here, just that the road back isn't as short as we hope sometimes.
I thought he has said he wants to play in the SEC?

Yeah I think that's a major reason Lanning hired Lupoi, to pull many of those guys. They will compete with USC for a lot of guys.

What kind of precedent have we set? NIL has only been "legal" for 7 months.
I don't know, rumor has it Hooker is getting a 7 figure salary/deal so I'd imagine Nico is getting the same as an incoming freshman on top of the fact he's already making money on NIL in California
