Well, a number 3 seed in the SEC tournament isn't too bad. If we play well in the opening round, we will probably see LSU in the Semifinals. Gotta get away from these slow starts. We beat LSU 32-22 in the second half. Couldn't throw it in the ocean during the first half and the defense almost seemed shell-shocked. The team never quit fighting.

Bad as we played it was a one possession game. We need players that can make a shot in those situations.

I’ll be the one to say that on the final play Rae came open and should’ve gotten an attempt to tie the game. No way that inbound play should’ve resulted in a turnover.. freshman or not.

But we don’t know if we will even make it far enough to have Horston back. If we can’t play a full 4 quarter, 40 minute ball game to win, we are going out early this year. It’s not rocket science, it’s very simple as to what we need to do. We clearly have the talent, even without Horston, but it’s how much do these ladies want it? Other teams clearly want it and are less talented.

Painful loss all because of the first quarter of play. Really don't expect much the rest of this season going forward to many injuries derailed this team. Looks like we'll be hitting the road in the NCAA Tourney.

My point is Horston has provided all those attributes. Greatly missed.

Tara,geno,mulkey,staley and coach k are CEO'S thats why they continue to be successful.

Kellie made adjustments and went toe to toe with Mulkey. We just couldn’t take advantage of some key opportunities. Proud of this team! Keep fighting!

I will be interested as to what she does next season losing 8 seniors and only two freshmen going to need some portal magic.

We have upgrades— they are hurt.

which means we need a little more depth! That will come with the freshman becoming sophomores. All of Sara's shots looked good! but she hit the freshman wall. Next year hopefully that won't happen and there's depth right there and kaiya is coming along, and brooklynn is coming along.

But we need more... A piece or two away from being REALLY good.

Oh and when Jordan comes back (and Marta) Kellie will have a good problem on her hands!

It’s not going to be enough time for her to heal. Would need to make it the 3rd round and I don’t know if we have it in us to get past the 1st.

I’d rather just see her next season anyhow. It is what it is. Our ceiling is Sweet 16 IF we get to host. No reason to risk reinjuring it while it’s healing.

We needed it before this season ever began just didn't have them. Point guard is huge for any team we need someone that can score from that position. I will be very happy if we get Jasmine and Rickea as additions Jordan and Marta back I like that team.

Is it impossible to play with our fourth quarter intensity for the whole game? Does that type of aggressiveness risk too many fouls, or just expend too much energy, not leaving enough for the fourth quarter?

Missed shots also really hurt. Just when it looks like we have shooters, we don’t. So many tossed up shots. More arc on the ball would fix a lot of shots, including free throws.

Whatever, it was a great and maybe surprising comeback, just fell a little short. Gotta learn from it. On to the SEC Tournament. We can play with anyone, just gotta defend better and shoot well from the beginning of every game.

Kellie is a better X's and O's coach than Kim. Kim wins by out talenting or motivating only, her coaching is not good. LSU will be back to bottom tier next year with all those seniors leaving.
