Deficit Don? Red ink gushes in Trump era
Lol. Sure

Cheap gas, great returns on retirement/ brokerage accounts, jobs. Some things you don’t have to post a link for to prove you’re correct. But go on and post ******** articles written by someone who likely doesn’t even know their correct pronoun.

Once again, that is baseless when you include the massive Russian cyber-attack against American businesses from December of 2020 into the equation. Donald Trump's own Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, publicly declared that Russia was responsible for the cyber-attack, but Trump chose to publicly side with Vladimir Putin's denial, anyway.

There is no reason to believe that Vladimir Putin ever had any reservations with attacking American interests, when Donald Trump was the President of the United States. If Trump truly had our back in the face of Russian aggression, he would have done something about the December 2020 cyber-attack. Instead, he did what he has always done ... take the word of an authoritarian ruler, and side with Vladimir Putin.
And you literally have that single example that you just keep throwing out there and it pales in comparison to what we seeing now. If it was just the one invasion I’d 100% agree with you that you couldn’t possibly connect Trump being in office to Putin not attacking but given that he did it before and after I think it’s a likely correlation. Of course there’s no way to prove it but you make leaps in logic all the time about Trump so it’s all good. It’s my opinion and I’m sticking with it. “Light sigh”

White House says removing Russia from SWIFT remains 'on the table'

The United States and its allies may still remove Russia from a key international payment system, even after President Joe Biden declined to do so twice since the invasion, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday.

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, or SWIFT, is the main system that facilitates cross-border financial transactions and money transfers. SWIFT is overseen by the Bank of Belgium and is used by 11,000 institutions worldwide. Biden has cited a lack of consensus from Europe in electing not to make the move.

Italian and German leaders are said to be the ones opposing the SWIFT sanctions, while the United Kingdom is lobbying hard for it. But a reporter in the briefing room said the Italian and German governments have indicated they would not veto the move.

Heroic Ukrainian soldier Blows Himself Up on Bridge to Prevent Russian Advance

A Ukrainian soldier has been hailed as a hero for blowing himself up to destroy a bridge in an effort to stop Russian tanks from invading his country.

Marine battalion engineer Vitaly Skakun Volodymyrovych was deployed to the Henichesk bridge in the southern province of Kherson when the Russian tanks advanced, the Ukrainian military said on its Facebook page.

“On this difficult day for our country, when the Ukrainian people give way to the Russian occupiers in all directions, one of the hardest places on the map of Ukraine was the Crimean intersection, where one of the first enemies met a separate marine battalion,” according to the post.

Marine battalion engineer Vitaly Skakun Volodymyrovych blew himself up on a bridge to stop the Russians from advancing in Ukraine.

When the battalion decided that the only way to block the armored column was by blowing up the bridge, Volodymyrovych volunteered to place mines on the span, the General Staff of the Armed Forces said.

And when he realized he had no time to get to safety, the brave soldier made the ultimate sacrifice on the bridge, which connected Russian-occupied Crimea and mainland Ukraine.

‘We’ll lay down our souls and bodies to attain our freedom’: Defiant Ukrainian holds back tears as she Sings National Anthem whilst cleaning rubble out of bombed home

This is the moment a defiant Ukrainian woman held back tears as she sang the national anthem whilst cleaning rubble out of her bomb-stricken home.

Oksana Gulenko's home was among the 33 civilian sites bombed by Russia in its assault on Ukraine over the last 24 hours, despite Moscow saying it would only strike military targets.

Filmed from inside her devastated apartment, a video shows Oksana calmly clearing her home of rubble while singing her country's national anthem, titled (in English) 'Glory and Freedom of Ukraine Has not yet Perished'.

Chechens are the worst. Here I was thinking Putin hated them too. I was seriously misinformed, the few Russians I’ve known absolutely loathed the Chechens because they are Islamic weirdo terrorist
This is probably a mercenary band of Chechens. Not a force to be trifled with, those Chechens.

It's probably best not to post links tonight. Stories are being retracted and cyber attacking happening all over the place. He is openly threatening Finland and Sweden in the UN now.
