I am hoping that this is going to cause America to wake up to the foolishness of this woke agenda. We have let the left shove it down our throats long enough and we are weak because of it.

How many people who vote Democrat do you honestly think are following this closely?

Of those who vote Democrat how many will believe inflation and gas prices are all Putin’s fault and Biden helped to mitigate it from being worse?

My belief is almost 90 percent of Democrats stay in their ways and keep trodding down the stupid road.

I don't disagree that most Democrats will continue to vote Democrat. There are people on both sides who will always choose party over making a pragmatic decision. Wouldn't surprise me at all, though, if the never Trump Republicans / Independents who voted for Biden, a third party candidate, or sat out the 2020 election vote R in the midterms.

So what was he going to do? Again, even if he pulled him from the stage, the media would have simply given him another platform once it was clear that he was in conflict with Trump.

I swear, I hate having to defend Trump all the time because he does have his flaws (just like the rest of us). But boy do people go out of their way to knock on him unfairly 90% of the time.

A novel virus. This was an unprecedented occurrence. He had no choice at the time but to lean on Fauci. Nobody knew in March 2020 how deceptive that guy was.

The "science" at the time was not available yet for them to sculpt a message that was going to deviate too much from a cautionary stance. It is bad enough that we have leadership that is risk averse in normal situations, but talking about a novel virus?

If I was going to criticize something that Trump did or didn't do, it might be him going against his original instincts and not encouraging the country open back up for Easter Sunday. One of the few times he didn't follow his gut feelings. And even with me saying this, I can't criticize too harshly him not doing that. The media and the liberals by that point had the entire country scared to death.

It wouldn't surprise me if in the next few days we get a "cyberattack" that affects our banking system and clears out a few accounts. The Russians can be blamed when it will actually be a false flag to drum up more support here at home for fighting Russian aggression.

There are a lot of short memories about how bad things looked in the first quarter or so of 2020 ... short memories on both sides. The media were play it like the apocalypse, medicine was overwhelmed, and most of the government was clueless - all governments.

Well AM you know there days you can be anything you want to be. I’m 55 and only mildly broken but next week I’m putting on my mental illness cap and I’m going to be a 20 something male named ziggy stardust in tight skinny jeans. I can’t sing but I’m going for that record contract. My luck I’ll get drafted.
But seriously lilreb and I had this discussion the other night about women police officers. I saw one that was really short and about a buck o 5 soaking wet and wondered what her success rate is chasing felons down and tackling them? I’m sure it’s 0 for some number.
Being a petite dew drop and trying to take on a physical endurance role is a mistake. In both military and police it can get you killed. I’ve seen some hulking women do fine in both roles but not many.

I agree, and there's still another problem - at least for guys of my generation. We still tend to look out for and protect women, and that kind of distraction is not a good thing in a combat situation. Men have always fought with and for each other, but as equals; call me a chauvinist or whatever, but a female presence adds an unhealthy distraction.
