I know a guyView attachment 433492
Did all of those last year and they were all great. But all completely different. I was surprised how much I liked Grand Canyon; didn't really expect to. Sedona (the desert part of your plan) was awesome. To us, Yellowstone was all about the wildlife. Could care less about thermals and geysers. Once you've seen one, you've seen em all. Certainly, many disagree with that.I’m in the infancy of planning and welcome to suggestions. I want to go to Jackson Hole and dip into Yellowstone. But I also would enjoy a Grand Canyon/desert style circuit.
If you want the most challenging and satisfying day hike you've ever done, do the Paintbrush Divide/Cascade Canyon loop in the Tetons. Trailhead is 20 mins from Jackson. Only accessible around late August/early September unless you have ice gear, but man it was incredible. Takes a full day of hard hiking, but worth ever ache.I’m in the infancy of planning and welcome to suggestions. I want to go to Jackson Hole and dip into Yellowstone. I don't want to make a thread yet..................
But if anyone is interested in getting together and playing golf before a UT night game this fall....................Let me know!
I can make the arrangements.........
I'm making a list of those that "like".....................Later I'll make a thread and give out my email.......
I remember talking to you last year when I hiked with some fellas. We did Teton Crest but one in our party had some health issues and we had to cut it off. We were aiming on finishing at Paintbrush. I would like to ascend Cascade Canyon, then go down Paintbrush next time. Nah but this trip is with littles. So it will probably be half the loop around Jenny Lake and then go for a swim, get an icee, moose mug, and photo-op.If you want the most challenging and satisfying day hike you've ever done, do the Paintbrush Divide/Cascade Canyon loop in the Tetons. Also really cool is Delta Lake, secret trailhead (easy to see) about half way up Amphitheater Lake trail.
And why aren't you buying recruits?Okay, so I just sat with the arrogant self righteous arsehole doc that some other posters were talking about.
My wife and I go to the monthly wine tasting at our country club. We got there a little late and wre seated at a table with this GI doc. He is the poster child for entitled pushy knowitall docs.
I played golf with he and his buddies once and swore never again. Well, at the wine tasting, he said that they are taking a once a month golf trip and I needed to go with them…
I have never been so happy to be covering a UT Arlington baseball game Friday and Dallas Jackals rugby game Saturday. Whew, the next trip is Memorial Day weekend and my wife saved me with “family coming in town”
As he is droning on and on, I realized that outside of my partners, I really don’t hang out with other doctors. It hit me hard why I don’t…

It's a lifetime kind of memory, definitely try to do it at some point. Be sure to do paintbrush to cascade though, not cascade to paintbrush. Hoping to take my son in 15 years or so when he's old enough, but I'm worried I'll be too old to finish it then.I remember talking to you last year when I hiked with some fellas.
