I just hope BHH stays away from the portal. Barnes was not gonna start him in this game, but the players told him to. Barnes is gonna have to handle BHH carefully or he's gonna lose him.

(She was trying to playfully embarrass me in front of the performers). I said actually, I was going to blame your high heels. She laughed, gave me a hug and confessed that she was just having fun at my expense…I responded that I would still need to examine her to make sure AND then I turned red. When she saw how red my face was, she fell out laughing. Her laugh is contagious and genuine.

We did extras in a couple of the commercials that she was in. She stepped down off of the train just to chat during a break and wanted to hold the baby of the lady next to me. While holding her, the baby grabbed and pulled "her hair". The started apologizing like crazy but Dolly just laughed and said "I promise you, I didn't feel a thing... Whoever this hair came from may have but not me" 😅😅😅

Most surprising part was that after the 2nd time that I met her, she would call me by name, no matter how long passed between run ins. And always as nice as could be.

No one was recruiting him until he put on a show at the Peach Jam. He was a nobody who took those 5 star dudes to the woodshed.
Our staff was in the right place at the right time and moved quickly to get him. He took an elbow to the eye during one of the games and found someone to stitch him up and he went back in and balled out.

Based off your intimate familiarity with his situation? Conversations with BHH? I assume not. I assume you are making assumptions. BHH appears to understand exactly what he is and what he needs. He has given zero indication he is looking for greener grass somewhere else.

I don't think Barnes is into coddling divas. I also don't think the team talked Barnes into starting BHH in an effort to keep him from quitting. I don't think this team would put up with a player like that. If they talked him into it, it was because they felt like he had earned it.

I'm sure BHH is frustrated with where he's at right now, but I'm sure he knows that's 100% on him to improve. By all accounts the energy and vibe around the team is positive and uplifting - when so many locker rooms are toxic and degrading. Having a disappointing role in your first college season when you were supposed to be in high school isn't surprising.

I have no idea whether BHH happy or unhappy with where he is right now, but Barnes did say on post-game radio that he initially wasn't going to start him but players told him he should (I think he specifically mentioned JJJ & Vescovi telling him that) & that his teammates also encouraged BHH telling him he's ready.

Looks like all the models these days are pretty fantastic at getting the job done. Eventually landed on Instant Pot's version.

One more question for the sous vide folks - have you ever tried the kitchen torch approach to searing? Apparently it can sear quicker and hotter than a pan, that said I wonder when you would add the butter during the searing process or if the torch method is worth it over a classic pan sear, considering you'd have to re-up on the fuel every so often too.

I see some for only $20-30 and am tempted to try it...or maybe I'm going way overboard for something I only eat once a week-to-2 weeks anyway 😅
