Alvin Kamara arrested in Las Vegas for Assault

Meh. I was able to navigate hookers, cocaine, and drunk people without an issue at multiple casinos and strip clubs in Vegas in my 20's while being Gary Busey crazy drunk the whole time. If I could do it, anyone can.

Same for me, but only by the grace of God!

Of course, I had neither as famous a face nor as fat a bankroll as Alvin. Might as well have a target on his back.

He was fighting another man, so it will be no more than a slap on the wrist.

A little discouraging seeing some of the comments in here, AK represented this university well in his time here. Just because he chose to be in the sideline with former bama teammates while his former team played for a national title doesn’t say anything negative about his character. I would assume if Tennessee was in the title game he would be there with his former teammates as well. It seems we’re a little too anxious to attack our own people sometimes. It seems AK’s loyalty isn’t the problem here to me.

Again as far as the topic I’m not going to state much until we hear more come out.

My sense of Kamara has been that he's been close to a model citizen since he joined the NFL--or, if not a model citizen, at least he's never gotten
into any trouble that I've heard about. So I hate seeing him get into trouble like this. Maybe he's frustrated because, first, Brees and now Payton have retired. I'm sure he felt fortunate to play with Brees for two/three years and to play for Payton, a very highly-regarded offensive coach. And, now, with both gone, the Saints might find winning a lot more difficult. Not long ago Kamara was interested in investing in a Nascar team. I wonder if he followed through on that idea. I hope he reconsidered as that sounds like a very good way to lose your hard-earned NFL money. Don't do it, Alvin!

I mean anything could’ve happened. Wrong place, wrong time or anything in between.

Supposedly happened at Drai's, which doesn't even open apparently until 10 or 10:30pm, the night before the Pro Bowl.

I'm just jealous the young man knew he could go out late the night before the Pro Bowl and still be fine to play with the elites of the NFL.

Did you watch the pro bowl? Not sure a night out would hurt anyone's performance in it

Yeah, I get it that the stretch/warmup was probably the hardest part of the game.

It's also a pretty good bet he wasn't the only NFL player in that club. I just miss my youth, except for the occasional "did I do that?" situation.

You don't have gold Teef or Dreadlocks like AK. Not an apples to apples comparison.

Pretty sure I could’ve gotten hammered in Vegas Saturday night , maybe Sunday morning and had a productive offensive showing in the Pro Bowl.
