That’s the difference between well run franchise and teams like the Texans…. It wasn’t just the Tua incident…. He had a lot of issues with his assistant coaches and caused issues between different parts of the team…. It’s surprising that they were able to go on the mini run that they did.
Only thing I can think of is I mowed a lot of leaves. That is when It all started with me. I haven’t had the sore throat after about two or three days into it. They put me on 10 days antibiotics treating me for bronchitis and congestive sinus infection. I have allergies all the time but this is different. I am some better now but still battling it.Any idea what caused it? And I don't even want to think about having to deal with this for months. That sounds horrible!
I have to disagree they aren't an asset to society. Sports are an outlet for many of us and an economic machine. How many thousands of jobs are created by sports? I bet our economy would collapse if you took away all sports with a snap of your finger.Your argument is real. But fortunately people are beginning to see through it and the fact that athletes are privileged and not necessarily an asset to society. Our value in an athlete should be no more than a chemist, engineer, doctor, nurse, or teacher. These people work to improve our society. Why should athletes leave college with no debt?
I am older than dirt, but I came out of college with money in the bank and I never took out a loan. I earned money by working at number of jobs in high school and saved money rather than buying cars, a bunch of clothes and etc. I did not have a car at school and if I wanted to go home, I could/would thumb my way to and from home. During the Summers I got jobs which would pay for my entire net year's college costs. I even loaned one of my older brothers over $1,000 While I was in college. That was a big mistake and I learned to never loan money to anyone in the family.
