I’ve seen pics of a Boise cheerleader in Auburn garb. Several pics look like a different girl. And then some quotes about him being a Pruitt to everybody in the football office. And a vague articles by Chris Low about his tumultuous efforts in hiring or restructuring assistant coach salaries.

Yeah I had a post on here back when the lawsuit dropped about his issues when he was with the Dolphins. He had the same power struggle with the GM that gets a lot of HC fired. To be fair though, if the reports are true, he was right about the roster moves that they argued over. Flores didn’t want Tua.

Still though, no matter how much you like a guy and have interviewed him multiple times over a couple cycles, I just don’t see how you can hire him when he doesn’t have a single year of coaching experience outside of high school. And not even HC experience at the high school level at that. That’s nuts.

I wouldn’t hire either of them but the Texans just want to make a mistake it feels like.

They sound just like us…. Hire a coach but not giving him the full support needed…. He is good football coach but a horrible towards people and doesn’t value auburn traditions.

I used to see it the same as this. I thought you know a scholarship was plenty. That changed when the kid from UCF or USF had to drop his utube channel or quit football. That was an eye opener to me. I feel like they should have the opportunity to self fund with their name and popularity.
That said there need to be some strict parameters that ensure it is appropriate and not just hey come play here and you get money. I don’t know how or what the best direction is but I feel like they at least deserve the opportunity to make money for themselves.

Isn't he the one the NFL didn't want to draft too high because he was "too smart?" He was a Dobbs-type openly nerdy before folks realized what a PR boon that could be for a team.

As for strep... IDK if that's this or not. I've had strep before back when I was a kid and it didn't hurt anything like this but I think almost all of the pain is because the congestion I have is staying mainly in my throat and it has hurt to swallow so much that I have had huge coughing fits trying to get rid of all of it and just spit it out. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to really be working either so I'm mainly trying my damndest not to have to swallow which you realize is surprisingly common once you try to limit it. This has hurt badly enough though that even taking cepacol and chlorasceptic has done very little to help. In fact early on it actually hurt to take either bc the initial swallowing hurt so much (I didn't think that was possible as both are almost always 100 percent fast numbing). OH is run down with similar symptoms but it doesn't seem to be hitting him nearly as hard.

That’s the difference between well run franchise and teams like the Texans…. It wasn’t just the Tua incident…. He had a lot of issues with his assistant coaches and caused issues between different parts of the team…. It’s surprising that they were able to go on the mini run that they did.

Yeah I have been like that for two months. Real bad congestion right before Christmas, but still hanging on to me. I can’t seem to get over it.

I also used to think the scholarship was enough but when you think about it, this industry is what, hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars? Who’s on display? Who are we all paying to watch?

Any idea what caused it? And I don't even want to think about having to deal with this for months. That sounds horrible!
