How pissed are you after losses? The decision to turn pro should be based on where you will be drafted…. The NBA has better training available to improve your game…. I wish we would give him a huge NIL deal that would entice him to stay here for a few years.
Do they though? Not many up and comers from the G league is there? Makes it easier to stay with NIL imo.

I absolutely love Uros and think he's a great kid and awesome teammate, but he is just .... NOT good at all. looks like Tarzan and plays like jane... If we only had a big man that was aggressive and had some agility, we'd probably have another 3 wins minimum at this point...

I'm so over Barnes sitting on his damn grandpa ass the entire game, and then when something happens he finally gets up and has that same confused look... F'n coach the entire game man, get up and walk the floor, chew on the refs, that's what you get paid to do, not just coach in practice!

ZZ is spectacular and nothing bothers the kid because he's been through so much to this point... can't wait to see how he continues to develop!

Chandler definitely needs to come back next season--- folks may grade him high going into the NBA, but if he can't bring it in college consistently every game against SEC opponents, he will flame out and sit on the bench in the NBA... ZZ virtually a nobody with 18 and less minutes, Chandler #1-2 point guard in the country 11... he's had some good games, but then will have some bad/quiet games... at this point in the season he should be averaging 16-20 a game with the minutes he plays... hoping he improves and is peaking for the tourney...
Just when we thought your negativity could not possibly get any worse, here you go and prove us all wrong again. Well done!!

A first round pick isn’t an up and comer, and they can play a lot in the G League. Just like Keon and Jaden, who are both millionaires.

The money does make it easier to jump even if you're just G league but if you're playing in the g league, you're an up and comer, not a roster guy. Not many that come from g league to start in the NBA or have impactful minutes.

The 2 from last year should've stayed. Are they getting any minutes?

No way. Keon will make 5.2 million guaranteed with years 3 and 4 as team options. Most teams pick up salaries at those low numbers, which means he will 12.5. He is focusing only on basketball. If he was able to improve his stock by 6-7 spots, the money isn’t significantly different to risk another year in college. Maybe if he had been given a significant NIL deal to offset it, but that’s even debatable.

InVOL, it's not that I disagree with what you're saying about the O...I totally agree, actually; it just seems, and I don't think you want it, but you come across like you are waiting with baited breath for her to fail. I believe in change and coaches changing. No, Holly didn't...I'm banking on Kellie doing so. I want her to, because she's one of my all time favorites (this coming from someone, though, that wanted Fulmer to go after Staley or Walz, because that's the type of program the Lady Vols are, to go after that caliber; but, I knew it wasn't going to happen, and was happy that it was Kellie). It took Summitt nearly 20 years to break from the inside, high percentage shot to the Chicago trip.
I would 100% love for her to succeed. She was an all time favorite of mine as well. For me it cones down to confidence. I have very little confidence that she'll turn the offense around. It's so bad. It appears they don't have a plan which is disturbing to me. She's been coaching for a very long time and should have somewhat of an offensive identity and I simply can't see one. Again, my confidence that she'll turn the offense around is very low.

I get it; they aren’t immediate contributors. But some are drafted and groomed in the G League. I don’t think Keon was going to develop enough to be a lottery pick, so it was best for him to take the money. There are guys that hardly ever play in the NBA who get several million on the bench.

How did her character suck?
From season 1 thru season 3, she had progressed, grown, had some depth to her, not just hell on wheels (don't get me wrong, I like hell on wheels, but I like more, you know), and i loved her for it...brawn and beauty that started to mix great with a bit, just a smidge, of other emotion; she regressed the entire season 4. I almost turned it off whenever she threw the dishes in the kitchen, after learning about John and the protest girl...that entire scene about ruined everything for me, that's how bad it was, and how much I hated it. She was turned into a caricature, way too many one liners that grew old real fast. It's like they took the things I liked about her brawn and toughness, and ramped it up 1000 fold, and it grew so very stale, whenever it was perfect right where it was at. I hope it improves with season 5.

Of course, tbh, overall, I was pretty disappointed with the entire season. Waaaaay too much Jimmy in Texas, way too much. Nowhere near enough Kayce and Jamie, or Thomas. Started with a bang, but sloooowed way down. Holding out hope that it was for a reason.

I understand about the confidence, although I'm the opposite; but, I totally understand about offensive identity. I'm waiting, eagerly, to see what she does with some of the tip top of prospects she may can bring into a top 7 to 10 program; UT was not there whenever she took over. She doesn't necessarily have that right now, outside of a couple...plus, injuries have been huge this year. If she can just get them to the Sweet 16 this year, I think she may be off and running. 🤞

That’s not really accurate any more since the NBA allows the rostered player to go between the nba and g league….. just some a few of the names:: Khris Middleton, Rudy Gobert, Siakim, Jordan Clarkson, shake Milton, Danny Green….. I’m sure there are probably many more…. If a guy has the ability to improve…. He can improve easier in the NBA…. There are plenty of guys that could stay in college forever and still not make an impact in the pros.

lol what?

Just remember, according to one poster tomm Pretty Holly's gameplan... put to pen and paper night before at the HS Jamboree, will be perfectly executed.

Throwing ball all around to shoot a three at last second. Or, out talent other team with layups. Middle school ball.

Have heard the same from peopke that were there. That year seemed to be legendary in general according to many.

But wasn't there. Saw them on The Farm in...I guess it was 11 or 12. Thom was doing the camera-in-mouth thing.
It was a great year for shows; but, unfortunately, the fest itself changed drastically after that. MTV bought it, and it went full mainstream, which can be cool...but, the entire vibe changed, more agression...of course, you're going to have that whenever you go from straight hippie jam band to Metallica and Eminem, you know. I went to 8 of them, the first 6, then 2 others...haven't been back since 🤔 '11, I think...whatever year it was, I only went to see LCD Soundsystem.

You talking about The Farm in Charleston?

Absolutely and great work KB5252! We give mostly to rescues and small organizations. We figure the church is fine and we are directly touching lives when we help these rescues and organizations.

Do you help/run a specific nonprofit? If so, I would love to give.
I do not but I help and work with many in my area. We have a small farm and take in/give forever homes and foster mostly farm animals. We do it because we love animals and their company. If we need something on our farm beyond our resources the rescues we work with typically get funds from private donors to assist because of our reputation.

If you feel the spirit all that I ask is you give a little extra to your favorite rescue, if you can, in honor of our old herd queen Grandma and Phoenix the rescue pitty!

Thank you for all that you do to help animals!

That was a well researched post, and makes me feel much better, since I've been feeling down about the two recent losses and play. I am trying to figure out what has changed-- Surely not Burrell coming in as a starter, but makes me wonder. Green is hurt, but that shouldn't cause them to lose their momentum, I wouldn't think.
Sorry, JCP, for just now replying...covid and meds have my mind racing and wondering.

Thank you...I enjoy researching, especially sports stats, and history and culture.

I'm just hoping for a Sweet 16 this year. We need it. Of course, I would love to drag UConn tomorrow, it could be Kellie's signature win, so far. I truly believe she just needs talent. InVOL is right, the O HAS TO improve, and im hoping an influx of talent will give Kellie something to mold and meld.

Injuries have hurt this year, they have; hopefully, as Burrell works her way back, that will help. Also, hopefully, they got the duds out of the way before tomorrow night. I just want them to compete tomorrow.
