I could have seen Pink Floyd and the Stones in Atlanta from the front row..for free, back in the early 90s...but..I was young and dumb.
Also missed a chance to go to see STP when they were still nobodies right before they blew up at the Roxy theater in Atlanta...but..I was young and dumb.
I had a close friend that could score front row to anybody...but I missed a lot of great shows...but..I was young and dumb...
I didn't do a lot of stuff because I kept thinking there would be another day..
My dad has seen most bands I could only dream of seeing in their prime. Dokken, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dokken, Skid Row, list goes onI could have seen Pink Floyd and the Stones in Atlanta from the front row..for free, back in the early 90s...but..I was young and dumb.

I feel like the offense is fine to a point….. our issue is that we only have one real offensive scorer that’s not based on athleticism…. Horston and Walker are both below average shooters…. Dye can shoot in her range to a point but she is undersized…. Key has very poor post moves…. Burrell can shoot but she is still getting her legs under her from being out….. Kellie has been trying to change our team from athletes that play basketball to more pure basketball players…. Puckett…. Striplin…. Justine next year all have better shooting ability than most that we are relying on right now..I'm the same. I sincerely hope that she does something to fix that O. I really want her to succeed. I just have little confidence she will. She's got a hugely long leash though. I suspect they'll be fine with 20 wins and the occasional sweet sixteen.
Lynyrd Skynyrd in Knoxville with Ronnie Van Zant before the plane crash. Tom Petty front row Hangout Music Festival. Santana/Atlanta Rhythm Section/Eddie Money/Mother's Finest in ATL Georgia Tech Stadium Champagne Jam, Eric Clapton, Charlie Daniels, Jason Isbell, Amos Lee, Rolling Stones, Steve Winwood, Outkast, Stevie Wonder, Big Freedia...lol and so many more live shows. I am truly lucky with the live music, most up front on the rail.My dad has seen most bands I could only dream of seeing in their prime. I have been impressed by Kellie improving our defense from where it was with Holly but am concerned about her recruiting but am willing to let her build it…. I feel that we were out performing our talent level earlier this year but underperforming the past three games… I hope she gets it corrected and is able to build us back to a final four team.
I've given her credit for the defense, but your first paragraph says it all. This free-for-all offense relys on individuals, no team concepts. It's as elementary as children's rec league. It's pass it around until the shot clock has expired and then rely on either a contested 3 or one player driving trying to beat someone one on one, two, or three. There is literally no semblance of an organized offense. If you rely on out talenting your opponent then you're not a very good coach.I feel like the offense is fine to a point….. our issue is that we only have one real offensive scorer that’s not based on athleticism…. Their biggest problem is that they're extremely lazy with the ball. They would be undefeated if they had half the turnovers they currently have. Heck even a quarter less they'd probably only have 1 loss. Their biggest problem is laziness and currently there is no cure for that in the current and future generationsI feel like the offense is fine to a point….. our issue is that we only have one real offensive scorer that’s not based on athleticism…. DeletedJust heard that @SweetasSoda is in the hospital with Covid pneumonia. Remember her in your prayers
I agree with that…. We have been extremely careless through different coaching staffs when it comes to turnovers.Their biggest problem is that they're extremely lazy with the ball. As much as I love the Olympics, I am not a fan at all of the opening and closing ceremonies. Waste of time. Might be ok if you are there live, but on TV, they are awful. My wife asked me about the Olympics last night. I said the opening ceremonies are on. She said let's watch. I turned them on and they were doing all the light show stuff. I asked her, do you really like this sh!t? She said yeah. I said ok. A few minutes later she fell asleep. I changed the channel.![]()
Some things Augusta does are awesome...some are dumb. I wouldn't get thrown out because I would treat the place like hallowed ground. Your opinion of me is off. It's something that's hard to understand unless you play the game. Have you ever watched the tournament and seen people lined up 20 deep around a green and then you see empty green seats in the front row? People come early and place their seats next to the rope around the green or fairway and then they leave to walk around but no one will move, or sit, in those empty seats. It's the Masters and that's the way things are done on the property. I doubt you would last very long if you attended the tournament![]()
Dark Side of the MoonOff topic but Operation: Mindcrime is probably the best concept album of all time.
Yes I know The Wall exists and no I don’t care
Have heard the same from peopke that were there. That year seemed to be legendary in general according to many.Saw them at Bonnaroo in '06. They have claimed it's the greatest show they have ever performed. While I haven't seen every show they've played, I'm inclined to agree. It was unbelievable!
