Well, one of those posters said back when they were winning every game that this day would come. It has. None of the posters want Kelly gone. We all want her to succeed. But she will never get there without an offense and better shooting.

The definition of succeed is FF appearances since it is a tradition rich Lady Vol program.
That same poster also said the Lady Vols have been a dumpster fire like the football program, sooo...

Sitting here at work thinking....

Since so many of you have an in for Augusta can one of you help me score some tickets please??? Thanks.

If you're serious about going and want tickets, look at this web site and be prepared to shell out some $$$$.

I see Auburn has some type of love triangle going on that may help us in getting some of their players. With that being said if we have no current places to offer on the team what do we do. I know the easy answer is cut some loose but if you build a program that is about a culture of family that doesn't look good from the inside out.

We all want the best players as fans but the ones getting cut loose were team mates to those who stay. Ego's and Team dynamics are fickle things that sometimes need not be toyed with when the long game is what you are playing.
We'll take all of them and make them walk-ons and give them NIL deals :cool:

I'm curious how Augusta National can control that (unless it jeopardizes some future attendance).

Well for the kid to be playing Augusta National at that time while staying on site, he would have been playing with a member or a member's family member. One does things the Augusta National way if one wants to stay a member.

People who work the tournament and certain others with tie ins get to play the last day its open in late May.

While this is true it is much harder to make a 3 star an elite player than it is to make a high 4 star or a 5 star an elite player.
I think a lot of that depends on the player. Some Primadonna 4 and 5 star players don't like coaching

I have secured tickets for the Thursday opening round of the Master's. Never been there but always wanted to go and just walk that course. I have gotten to play gold course around the world like in Perth Australia where they play the Heineken Open where Fred Couples and Ian Woosman won. Several course in Northern Ireland and South Africa and even in Zimbabwe but I have never gotten to even walk on the grounds of the Master's. I am wearing depends incase I pee on myself. :) HAHA!
Buddy, ole friend, ole pal.

Long time since we hung out. How’s about let’s catch up in early April on a golf trip? Got any ideas where we could go watch some quality golf??

Pro and College sports are getting worse than soap operas. Every year it seems there is a big uproar over a coach and his actions, then he gets paid and moves on to the next million dollar job or goes to the pros and stays until the smoke clears. Great work if you can get it.

@engineerVOL, @Brillovol, and any engineers out there, my son is graduating in May with his EE degree. What's your thoughts/advice on getting the PE?
Worthwhile for sure. But I doubt he’ll need it depending on which avenue he pursues. I know EEs and NEs that have no need for a PE. But he’ll never be more prepared than he is right now (well after 4-year apprenticeship). I would have a hard time passing it right now.

They pretty much do what they want to at Augusta. Those guys are powerful. They banned Gary McCord from ever broadcasting their tournament because he spoke ill of their greens while on air. CBS honored their request too. He said their greens were so fast it looked like they had been bikini waxed and they didn't like the comment. Players are told what's off limits during interviews----it's wild.

Good thing is, he has some time. Not sure how UT handles the FE, but it was required for all engineers at Tech. Just based on my experience, go ahead and take the FE, get into work, and then decide. For CEE’s it’s almost a must these days, but it’s really based on what field he gets into. Even then. It’s mostly a value play. He’ll always be more valuable with his license.

@SSVol too since I think he’s ME.

PE is good if he's consulting or working for a small company. i worked for a large engineering corporation and never needed one. Hope that helps.
