Context is what means something..Terry Bradshaw (among several other crap QBs) sucked ass and won a crap-ton of games..

Dan Marino is one of the best QBs of all time...period.

Greatest QBs of all time? Bob Griese and Ed Morrall Only QBs in the NFL to have an undefeated season. ‘72 Dolphins. Griese broke his ankle in week 5 and Morrall took over. Griese came back for the playoffs and Super Bowl.

Bradshaw was mediocre..maybe sucked was the wrong word, but his stats are awful considering the WRs and OL and RBs and TEs he had to work with.

It was the offense being run. He’d excel in today’s high percentage passing attacks…Staubach also. Would’ve been aided immensely with the quarterback friendly rules.

First few years hurt him. Lost his job to “Jefferson Street” Joe in ‘74. From mid ‘74- retirement, he was excellent.
People forget that Noll drafted 2 QBs to take over……Gilliam and Terry Hanratty.
