For those that had given well wishes or thoughts and prayers for my aunt's battle with Covid, very appreciated but unfortunately, at much too young, she passed on last night. The resulting complications just multiplied to more than she could handle.

I would request those uplifting thoughts/prayers be passed along to her husband, kids, my mother and her other surviving siblings.
Thx in advance and always remember to take the opportunity to tell those you love, how you feel.

We gave 300k to a player that could not stay on the field last year and is not on any NFL draft radars. Lets pump the brakes.

Well, to be fair he's not even eligible for the NFL until after this upcoming season. Don't think they'd have him on the radar for the upcoming draft he's not eligible for...


Also I prefer 300k to the guy ya know, he's been here 2 seasons and worked with the transition to a new staff. He's obviously a leader in the locker room as well, I expect he'll move inside to fill the role of Butler/Tremblay and you'll see Young starting at edge. Hopefully Pearce, Josephs, Roman etc. can contribute this year as the other edge guys.

Maybe Verse is a beast, but he could also show up and not be capable or able to replicate what he did at the FCS level.

Yep, just like when opposing players/fans sing Rocky Top after they beat us. Although I would agree that the physical act of opposing players/fans gator chomping the UF players is probably more irritating to them.

Regarding Baron. Who cares? 300k might be a lot. 300k might not be a lot. The staff may have wanted us to pay whatever to keep him.

He was going to leave, then he got money so he didn't.

Plenty of people in charge of roster and money had an opportunity to say "no" at any point. But he's back on the roster with fatter pockets.

People with more information made a decision that they can live with, on all sides.
