It’s not rigged, but a league like the NBA really wants big market teams in their finals. I have no doubt there is some subtle encouragement to try to make it happen.

It’s why I’m going to be interested to see how the Grizzlies fair in the next 5 years if Ja Morant continues his level of play.

Spurs won plenty of championships as a small market team and competed for many more. Bucks just won as a small market team.

I think Grizzlies will be fine if they just continue to draft so well and have competent management to keep that core together.

Right now, they look like the team of the future. Sky is the limit IMO

He's not doing it alone. He's got Mixon chase higgins the solid tight end and a really good OL. He's really good, but if he and Trevor Lawrence switched places we'd probably be saying how Joe is a bust and Lawrence is looking so good. I think burrow is an example of what it's like when you wait to draft a QB until you can surround him with talent.

Joe Burrow’s OL is one of the worst in the league. It is known.

Really good oline??? Theyve almost killed him they have one of the worst in the NFL, they allowed the most sacks ever in a playoff game, Burrow is the only QB to ever be sacked 9 times and win the game. They tried to make improvements in the off-season but it didn’t help. The oline isn’t even average let alone really good

The Bucks have an international superstar. The Nets had injury issues in the Eastern Conference Finals. As I said it’s not rigged, but if you’ve watched enough NBA over the years, you understand.
