Mind blowing to me that so many college players can't hit at least 70% FT's. Refs are always going to make calls you don't agree with but hit 10 of 16 FT's and we aren't having this conversation..
It's called the free blocking zone. It extends 3 yards back and forward of the LOS and inside the tackle box and it disappears once the ball leaves the zone.
